Service was bad for me. The receptionist was not helpful and rude when we asked about our non-functional air-conditioning.

All in all,I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.My first and last for this hotel. Cheap and nasty.

Get what you pay for… 1-2 stars at best due to quality of the facilities. Bedsheets and towels are old and stained (so bring your own!), mattresses are uncomfortable, bathroom is clean but old. Walls are thin; you can hear people walking in the corridor and your neighbours talking ??‍♂️. The staff are friendly and helpful. And the location is nice because of the view you get from your balcony if you have a river facing view isn’t bad.

The front desk is harsh and i am a regular customer, just because telling her the old price, she becomes so defensive and telling me that she works there for 6 years already. I am a regular customer since 2012, and from now on will not choose this hotel anymore. i have no issue with the new pricing anyway. but theres no need to show such a rude attitude towards customer.

When I check in to the hotel, the staff told me they are fully booked and have to relocate me to another hotel of theirs in Chinatown. I have a bad experience in another hotel they relocated me to. Really disappointed in their management. If there’s no rooms, then don’t advertise it on Agoda. The room in their Chinatown counterparts is cheaper than the rate I pay.

Beware of late checkout. Late 5 minutes will be charge Rm 10. Not fair for me bcoz I enter the room late due to room not ready and it’s around 3pm already.. ? Location ok laa, parking no problem. Just that there are also some more cheap hotels nearby and maybe better facilities.

  1. This place is not conducive to stay at all!!.

    The bed is already wearing off and can feel the spring sticking out. Bathroom in very bad shape with very bad leaking from ceiling and basin waste is pouring out with water when using. Almost all switches are malfunction.

    When I check into the 1st room the aircon is not working at all and have to stay in a smoking room. Need to stay 3 nights with foul smells.

    In short NO MAINTENANCE AT ALL. Feels like this hotel about to come down.

    Wants to update here and warn those decided to stay here do think twice.

  2. Stayed here about a month ago. We actually got upgraded from standard queen to deluxe king room so we were very delighted with the stay. It has a little balcony, full set table, wardrobe and the shower was much better than the hotel next to it. Currently on agoda, the deluxe king sells at 85~ which to me is a great price considering the room you get and nice front lady services. I really recommend Nova if you want to spend a few days in kuching since its at the waterfront area and there is a nearby dobby.

  3. Toilet dirty, no room service, no shampoo and shower cream provided, if you want a budget hotel, this price is a bit too high, if you want a better to stay, get somewhere else

    1. ? I don’t see any of drinking water provided at hotel room.
    2. Please repair you’re bathroom glass door before it falling apart

    Overall is nice,smell good ??
