it’s located near the church and also very close to everything. there’s also a 7/11 close if you ever need water at all times, lots of restaurants close and the chinatown is a small walk from the hostel. the beds were private and there’s no AC but a lot of big ventilators which ends up being the same tbh. the reception guy is so sweet he taught us some malaysian words! the showers were pretty clean and so were the toilets!

The staff lady (I forgot to get her name) was absolutely wonderful – very helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay! I stayed on the ground floor, clean thick beds, with aircon and fan in the dorm. They only have one bathroom for the entire floor but had no issues waiting a short time if anything for it. Initially stayed for one night, then extended for 2 more nights. Hidden gem, will book here again for sure if I visit Melacca again.

Comfy rooms.. near to go to everywhere.. like everyone talking about sis Norma yes she is so caring and nice to her customer.. like to repeat it again next time insya’allah..

This place is very clean and well-maintained. Soap and shampoo are provided. The boss is a very nice and friendly lady. I love this place, and will definitely come back to Malacca and stay here again.

3 months agoRoom is ok for a cheap hotel. But smoke smell from outside. Parking depends on luck.a year agoI booked this hotel on Agoda 3 days before my stay, but the reception manager call me on the second day, told me that the price I paid did not meet their minimum price, he ask me to pay more to match their desire price, I think this is ridiculous because they set their selling price on OTA, but refuse to take the order. Finally he force me to cancel my booking, make me spend a lot of time to deal with Agoda. Super bad experience, totally not recommend!!a year agoits the old hotel with smelly form the lobby to the room. The bed was good but only the toilet was smelly and not clean…have watermark on the bowl. .not as my expectation. Maybe can improve in the futurea year agoRoom condition is not good, inside bathroom have 2 big cockroach, but the host help us to clean it out. The bed is sinked in the middle, very hard to have a good rest. My wife whole night can’t sleep well. Water heater the temperature control had totally come out, it is super dangerous. So gentle remind do not take room 225, other maybe better.10 months agoVery basic needs provided. Wifi is ok. You need to get your hot or plain water outside the room from a dispencer. Only soap, toilet roll and towels provided.

Accommodation is quite good, single rooms that have single bed have AC and fan. It is small but comfortable. The socket is placed overhead and your phone charger cable must be quite long or it will hang like a swing. Two showers with working heater, two bathrooms and a washing machine for everyone to share.
Decently clean and cheap accommodation, but the walls are so thin that you hear the next person snoring. My room also had a small window with non-stop light from the hallway, through the night.
Do NOT STAY HERE.
Absolutely the worst night ever. Facilities are pretty standard for super low-budget lodgings in southeast asia: Bed was too hard, no soap, no toilet paper, bathroom sink drained onto the ground, sheets were stained, etc etc.
The heinous problem was that there aren’t really walls: there are banquet-style partitions between the rooms … and inches away, on the other side of this very thin partition, was a family of five. ALSO ok, until the kids started screaming and kicking the wall which was right next to my pillow. After about 3 or 4 hours, We complain to the front desk, who came and talked to the family at least three times. But nothing changed, the kids continued screaming and kicking the wall all through the night, until at least 2:00 a.m. Pathetic management! The manager even told us everybody on the floor was complaining, but still they did nothing effective.
The owner should be fined and forced to sell.

🙁 – Be aware that you have to pay 20MYR tourist tax per night when you arrive (other hotels include this price on Agoda, but this hotel doesn’t even inform you that you have to pay this beforehand)
The most disgusting bathroom I’ve seen (Pee on the cover + same toilet paper trash laying on the ground for days + molded + dust and spiders on the ceiling)
Also a spider in the room
Light comes in through the window at night and the staff says we cannot turn off the light as people passes by
I asked for a refund for the next day, the staff said yes and then the next day when I check out he says he meant that he will only refund the tax
Just ridiculous, nothing is working well here
Quite clean for a dormitory concept hotel, especially their bathrooms but there are still a lot of rooms for improvements on the part services. For the price range they don’t serve drinking bottles, towels & toiletries which a bit disappointing. The location is on the prime city centre though, just a stone away from little india Melaka.
