Terokai Pilihan Supermarket Terbaik di Penang

Localbiz Cover

Foods from several countries are available here.

Nearly arranged rows of shelves and wide enough to pass through easily.

The cold beverage selection however isn’t as wide as other place.

Don’t forget there’s a alcohol and pork in the left back corner section of the store if you’re looking for something non halal.

A nice place to shop for your groceries tho I can’t say you get the best prices here. Used to have very good customer service when they started, but as with most grocery outlets in Penang, the cashiers now only scan and accept payment without a hello or thank you. They don’t help you bag your stuff unless you ask them to.

Great place to do shopping with special produce or products which are seldom found in ordinary shopping or supermarket establishment. Produce or products like air flown salmon or trout, saffron, imported frozen food, premium meats, special blend of sauces and many more items. For example, I love their air flown trout, salmon and all their premium meats. A good place to shop with friendly staff, courteous cashiers and an unique place to find premium products, special selected produce and unique products in under one roof.

Grab delivery with Jaya grocer has been the best experience so far. I do hope you will stock up more N&P organic sweet banana. One of the best. Looking forward to shop with you.

Good place to get premium grocery items such as meat and such. had variety of cheese available as well as wine. More on the pricy side but worth it.

I have always loved shopping here. Another thing which amazed me is how this old-time departmental store is catching up with the fast pace of technology that it has such great online shopping platform. Recently, they opened a food court at the highest level selling all sorts of food at affordable prices.

Old school dept stall like Yaohan. Love it! Consist of a supermarket, bakery, food court and roadside hawker downstairs. Very convenient with good value merchandise. Patient lift helper and nice promotors but fierce cashiers. Just opposite Neo Hotel Penang and near Komtar the Top.

While shopping at Gama Departmental Stores, we lunched at the Food Court on the 7th floor, to save time and convenience since our car was already parked at the basement. It didn’t surprise us as the food court was almost deserted. (Wednesday after the members sale). Superb clean tables & environment with only 5 stalls operating drinks, fried rice, Yong taufo, noodles and desserts.

    1. Since its days known as Cold Storage, this supermarket has been rebranded into now an affordable supermarket for the masses yet carries a fairly good range of wines and imported produce.

A favourite for locals as parking is convenient and location just on the parameters of Georgetown.
