I trusted this clinic with the care of my two cats for routine vaccines, treatment, and grooming, but what happened to my cat Kiki was absolutely heartbreaking. After receiving a call from the clinic, I was informed that Kiki had been injured. They explained that after bathing him, they placed him in a cage that wasn’t secure. Kiki became terrified after a blower was used for another cat nearby, panicked, and tried to escape. In the process, his head got stuck in the cage door, and his jaw was broken.
When I rushed to the clinic, I found Kiki in immense pain, and his jaw was visibly broken. The staff apologized and offered to cover the treatment costs, but this entire situation could have been avoided. This happened because of their carelessness in using an unsecured cage and not monitoring my cat properly.
I tried to understand their situation, as I don’t have experience in handling grooming and related procedures. That’s why I trusted the vet to handle it. But despite that, I still feel incredibly sad about what happened. I sincerely hope the clinic takes responsibility, improves their standards, and learns from this mistake so no other pet has to go through this trauma.
Most importantly, I hope they treat Kiki with the best care they can provide, ensuring he recovers fully and returns to me just as healthy as when I brought him in before this incident.
Thank you to the doctor and clinic staff for their kind care and treatment of Kiki. I genuinely hope the clinic continues to improve and succeed in the future.
