2 months agoWe went into Downtown Davao City and found this very interesting museum! The Bone Museum! We went there right after lunchtime and had the place to ourselves for a wonderful private tour which they provided at not extra cost! The staff are wonderful, helpful and kind! We learned lots of interesting information about a number of skeletons and bones related to the Philippines and all around the world! They had a display from my home state, Alaska! Well worth a look and a great place to bring the kids! Prices were very reasonable and they have Senior discounts.a week agoFinally made it to the largest bone museum in Asia. Can’t believe it took me this long, being a born and raised Davaoeña! The tour was incredibly educational, thanks to a knowledgeable guide. Dr. Darrell Blatchley, the owner, was gracious in sharing stories and plans about the museum. Definitely worth a visit!a month agoEducational and one of a kind!Staffs were really dedicated and do their best to accommodate tourists and guests.
Fee was reasonable around 250.00. Souvenirs are inside the museum.
Good for families and learners at heart.

4 months agoThis museum has 3 floors. the first one is small and just a small preview, before you go to the second much bigger one. 250php per person is a ticket, and you have your own personal guide.My guide today was amazing. Girl was able to say so much about everything there and so many interesting facts about animals that I never knew about. Same you will be able to get background obout some of the animals, how did they die, and you will be probably very suprised!
Please visit this museum if you have a chance, and after you leave the museum, have everything that they will tell you for a long time in your head. Keep the pollution in the world to minimum from your side, as human impacts on the animals’ world is huge! The smallest trash in the ocean could kill a big majestic creature. Be good to the world and keep animals safe!
a month agoGreat place for kids and kids at heart. The museum has 3 floors to explore they showcase bones and remains of different kinds of animals from land, sea, and air. They close their doors at 5 pm. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who allowed us to have a picture of the yellow snake. It was a fun-filled activity and our kids loved it.

9 months agoWhat a unique place here in Davao City! I recommend if you’re looking for something to do while here in Davao City that you make a stop at this museum. It has a wonderful history of Mindanao and the city! I found it very interesting to follow the history of Mindanao. I didn’t know that the history went back so far!a year agoOur family went here as part of our davo experience, The meuseum itself is located inside the subdivision and it looks like a private collection of artifacts and history or Davao which is very good and informative for kids and adults as well. I highly recommend it if you plan to visit and haev a glimpse of Davao’s history, you will spend 1hr Max for the visit. The place is Airconditioned and there is a CR inside, there is an entrance fee but not that high. There is no food or food stand near so I suggest you eat elsewhere. I Highly recommend this place.3 months agoA little unexpected gem. It had a wonderful timeline of the area that helped educate both myself and my Filipina fiancé6 months agoLocated inside an exclusive residential village on the way to the airport. Their collection is small but impressive and well-maintained. The first floor is for changing exhibitions with some interactive elements, while the second floor showcases their permanent ethnographic displays of clothing, adornments and artifacts from tribes of mindanao. They sell a small catalogue with beautiful photos of their collection.8 months agoQuaint little museum. Interesting collection of artworks and photos about Victorio Edades. Although I can’t imagine tourists knowing about the museum considering that it’s located inside a gated village. A must-visit if you’re curious to see a different take on the different indigenous tribes of Davao.
