There is no place (in KB) better to do some reading or doing your work quietly (on weekdays) other than this Kelantan Public Library. It has good connection of complimentary internet. You can have a quick bite of delicious kebab if feeling hungry. When prayer time come, you can simply walk 5 minutes to nearby Bazar Tok Guru surau to perform solat jemaah.
However, the place is quite packed and noisy during weekend. Also free parking is really limited.
Many types of books available. From fiction to reference books for child to adult, also for graduate students to make their assignments. Child-friendly space, and all ages-friendly. Cosy reading space, each level seperated to each gender but we are allowed to choose book in cross level. Staff are nice and friendly. They’re are also very helpful.
A really good place for reading in peace , there’s not much noise around . There are seats available in every corners of the building . There are also places you can relax while doing your works if you get stressed .
Nice place to read. The staffs are friendly. Many type of books available here. Open during weekdays only. Also have cafe nearby
why is it closed on weekends? students have no opportunity to study at all. my school ends at 4pm. me and my friends used to study here every weekend to get ready for upsr back in 2018. now its time for my igcse’s/spm and i cant even go to the library with my friends to study. its dissapointing honestly. i just need a right environment to study just to figure out the only appropiate library in kelantan is closed on weekends, cant u manage that please?
