a month agoYahh its been 1 month . The moments i cant forget when first time arrived in Sibu thinking errr?this place am i dreaming?, my hearts feels full excited. I hope One day i can visit again.4 months agoEverything is so simple and organized since it’s a small airport. The arrival is at outside first than you get into immigration again, inside.7 months agoWonderful visit to sibu after 3years + of covid-19. Everything is back to normal. Still see a few passengers wearing face mask. They are careful.passengers follow airline instruction to queue up. Toilets maintain clean.keep up the work. Drinking water available downstair & boarding area. Very thoughtful. Very systematic & orderly. Thanks.a month agoSibu is in the heart of Sarawak. Still considered small comparing to Kuching or KK. Less flights, but quite busy during the festivities.5 months agoAirAsia Flight AK5878 SBW to KUL – 08:55 A.M. 19/8/23.I want to make sure if I’m at the right gate but before I ask the question to this male staff who is currently sitting at the counter of the gate suddenly said “tunggu kat sini tunggu kat sini” before I even managed to show my boarding pass to him. He then continued talking and laughing with his friends. No manner and not professional.

a month agoA pleasent trip back to Bintulu.How much Bintulu has changed over the years.
Many developments over the 38 years I last visited when much younger.
Mostly are are unrecognisable iver the years went by.
The airport used to be in the middle of Bintulu town.
Now had been relocated to about 30 minutes away by car from Bintulu town.
The new Bintulu Airport have newer better airport facilities.
5 months agoLess crowded when it’s not peak season for people to travel or going back home. Few stalls open and limited seat.a year agoBasic airport. Not many eateries available, so you may want to have a decent meal before coming to the airport at odd hours. They have a small waffle kiosk, Starbucks and a cafe upstairs. Seats are comfortable while waiting, with plenty of WCs easily accessible.3 months agoTypical airport, just lacking your common shoplots. They have Starbucks tho, if that’s your taste.*Picture below isn’t the entrance, that’s the exit after you dropped your luggage. People keep on entering from this side(idk why) and hitting the auto-door while entering.

Spacious, clean and well air conditioned. Not too crowded so easy to check in the airline, go through immigration and head to departure gate. Can get packets of Sarawak kolo mee and layered cakes to take home before flying off. Can also charge your phone at the charging station , located opposite departure gate 3.
Unfortunately Kuching International Airport is old and has fallen well below its peers.
However due to its lack of activity, there are no queues and you should get past security and immigration in less than 30min.
Shocking if you’re at international terminal, there are no restaurants or bars, no charging stations, bare bones!! Only a small counter serving coffee. ? All outlets including Burger King and Coffee Bean only at domestic terminal??
Cute little airport, didn’t take long to get our stuff checked in and security, there isn’t any restaurants or bar so don’t wait to eat until you arrive here ?
Immigration are very efficient plenty of food choice in the airport just sad part. Aircon at bay satu broke down
