I want to make sure if I’m at the right gate but before I ask the question to this male staff who is currently sitting at the counter of the gate suddenly said “tunggu kat sini tunggu kat sini” before I even managed to show my boarding pass to him. He then continued talking and laughing with his friends. No manner and not professional.
How much Bintulu has changed over the years.
Many developments over the 38 years I last visited when much younger.

The airport used to be in the middle of Bintulu town.
Now had been relocated to about 30 minutes away by car from Bintulu town.

Spacious, clean and well air conditioned. Not too crowded so easy to check in the airline, go through immigration and head to departure gate. Can get packets of Sarawak kolo mee and layered cakes to take home before flying off. Can also charge your phone at the charging station , located opposite departure gate 3.
Unfortunately Kuching International Airport is old and has fallen well below its peers.
However due to its lack of activity, there are no queues and you should get past security and immigration in less than 30min.
Shocking if you’re at international terminal, there are no restaurants or bars, no charging stations, bare bones!! Only a small counter serving coffee. ? All outlets including Burger King and Coffee Bean only at domestic terminal??
Cute little airport, didn’t take long to get our stuff checked in and security, there isn’t any restaurants or bar so don’t wait to eat until you arrive here ?
