The dim sum was mediocre, with anything containing meat being just bad and having an off texture, and the sweets tasting better than the rest. If you haven’t been to a push cart dim sum place this might be fun, but don’t go for the food.

decent place for decent dimsum, wouldn’t spend more than 30mins queueing for sure. quite old school concept with staff pushing the trolley with the dimsum for you to pick, just pass your order paper for them to mark the price of the items u took. pay at the cashier after your meal.

siewmai felt v normal, the fried beancurd skin roll was quite good. egg tart crust was v crispy and the egg in the middle was soft. the chicken feet was v generous but the marination was quite normal, not impressive.

the staff i deal with was quite ok and wasn’t rude as what some previous comments say, maybe i was lucky. dimsums were pretty affordable, averaging 5rm or less. they only accept cash.

My 1st impression was that the food will be mediocre based on the place. I was wrong indeed, the dim sum was tasty and fresh especially prawns dumplings and scallops porridge. I enjoyed every bite of all the dim sum and salted eggs yolk pau was fantastic. Maybe they need to change the method of ordering to scanning or menu type to save the hassle of queuing and bringing our own food. Just a suggestion to keep up with the technology. Prices are reasonable and the washrooms are clean. Will definitely come back again when visiting Penang.

Coffee shop selling only char siew, chicken, duck and roast pork rice. Char siew is famous there and the best in Penang though the quality drop gradually for 15 years. Still good though since I haven’t find any replacement yet. Try the vegetable and soup too.

Great taste, very very delicious. I really love BBQ pork. A little bit burnt but smell and taste is so perfect to eat with rice. From Bangkok.

    1. Went there for dim sum but was so disappointed.
      Bad service,
      1. No one leads us to the table, we have to walk in ourselves.
      2. Ordered apple juice but got cancelled without letting us know. Reordered the just as we thought we missed it, only informed us juice is not available when we follow up again.
      3. Placed order at 9:07am, the print order chit captures the time 9:11am. First steam dish was served after 40 mins, and last dish was after 1 hour and 15 mins.
Price is reasonable, but most of their dishes are quite salty.

    2. Honest rating after multiple visits: 5-star service (attentive staffs/serve food super fast after placing orders) , 5-star freshness of food ingredients, 5-star chef’s cooking skill (top notch) , 5-star dining atmosphere, 4-star food decorations, with quite reasonable/affordable charges (at least 30% cheaper than some very high-end Chinese restaurants around), those are enough for our family with kids to visit there repeatedly. Such a hidden gem, highly recommend!

    3. Went there for dim sum on Sunday morning. The setting is very good, but the food is just average, and the waiting time is very long. It took 30 minutes to serve my order, and we waited another 30 minutes for my takeaway order before leaving. I would recommend thinking twice before patronising.

    4. We have been relishing the wonderful dishes at Noble Season Restaurant, (top floor Penang Plaza) for many years.
Our favourites are Chicken with salted fish in a claypot & Sweet & Sour Pork. Dim Sum is also worth trying. ??
The memorable service by a wonderful & efficient lady called Kai Ling is one of the reasons we keep returning. She is a valuable asset to this restaurant.

    5. First time trying this place (and probably about 25 years since I last stepped into Penang Plaza) – we decided to have dim sum lunch at this restaurant after a few days of western food in Penang.

Food was nice, and portions are big and decently priced too. The dim sum menu was adequate though would have been better if there was more variety.

It’s open air car park and there are limited lots available.

Overall it was a good place for our lunch.
