3 months agoI would recommend the bun here. So soft and fluffy. The prawn dumplings is nice.6 months agoIt was teatime and we wanna try dimsum! Since we couldn’t decide which dimsum to order, there’s an item in their menu “Dimsum 20 pieces in variety of taste” enough for the six of us. Cheong Fun attracted our attention and we weren’t disappointed in ordering them. It was served with soy sauce sprinkled with crunchy fried onions. There’s spicy sauce too served for those with “wild spicy” taste buds. Shrimp dumplings and red bean paus completed our order. We had a great time and inshaa Allah (God willing), we’ll be back!3 months agoDimsum in Kangar, good price and taste good. My 2nd time here.a year agoDelicious food. The taste is good. Simple place but you won’t regret to have every bit of it taste. Try ita year agoA cozy place with delightful dumplings and dimsum to enjoy your mundane weekend. Ordered a few but ended up adding more dumplings for the second round ☺️ There’s plenty of food from fried , steamed and also pau to choose.

2 weeks agoFoods are good. cannot promise “great” coz sometime it is great sometime it is not. overall good. reasonable price, 90% of the time your head wont be taken off, will remain intact (reasonable price, rak kena potong kepala, 砍头)10 months agoFirst time dinner here, overall is ok. Just the spoon had dishwasher smell, black dots a lot in two meal, i guess the black dots come from the wok.Actually overall no problem, and winds good today??.

I went there with my friend, 2 people. I tried the food, it was good. I ordered 3 dished, Signature Tofu, Sotong Prapet & Tom Yum Kong. I can’t order more, 2 people. Food very tasty. If anyone come to perlis, worth to have your dinner here. Price is reasonable, not over price.

Come early, not many tables and it is quite pack.

This is a Chinese restaurant in Perlis located near moral uplifting society (德教会) Kangar.
The decorations of the restaurant is rather unique (big mango), and it’s rather yellow in color.. you won’t miss this restaurant for sure.
Stepping into the shop, we were greeted with a lot of paintings and antique wood display items. To me, everything seems here and there.
I have tried 3 dishes. Signature tofu, pickled radish french bean and also a sweet and sour pork (排骨王). Tofu is soft and nice. The crispy mushroom added a nice texture. However if eaten together, I felt the mushroom taste a little too overpowering. I was told they use enoki mushroom for that.. but it smells and tastes like grey oyster mushrooms.
Picked radish french bean is too sweet to my liking. Would love it more if it were savory instead of sweet. I guess they use sugar to caramelize the pickled radish. I guess their pickled radish is the sweet type, so the adding of sugar is rather unnecessary.
The 排骨王 is very tender. Love how they prepare the meat. The size of the meat is very uneven, (they are equally tender despite the large variation in size). It’s just aesthetically not so pleasing. The sauce is okay, I find the smell of worcestershire sauce (correct me if I’m wrong) too strong.
Overall, the food is okay, not superb.
That is just based on the 3 dishes I ordered. I will revisit to test out other dishes.
Price is otherwise reasonable.
