The 7 Best Chinese Restaurant in Miri

There wasn’t much options for dim sum but the taste is pretty good. The portions are also quite large. Quality is great as its filled mostly with meat rather than flour.

Overall, a decent dim sum restaurant.

Quality of the dim sum drop drastically. Rice roll so thick. BBQ chicken bun so horribly done. Siew mai does not taste right. Only glutinous rice okay. Overall disappointing. Better go VIP

Dimsum here are Halal, can be busy during weekend morning hours especially festive holidays. The restaurant serves dinner and lunch as well, food quite up to expectation and price is reasonable for hotel setting. Taste 14/20; Presentation 15/20; Ambience and Cleanliness 15/20.

Han Palace Restaurant, located at first floor of Grand Palace Hotel. It is busy restaurant during weekend. I always come here for their dim sum. Food is tasty. However, certain dish required a long wait time.

  1. Delicious food good vibes and clean. Soft and tender dong Poh meat, not over flavoured, just right amount of sweetness and right sauce.

  2. Spacious restaurant plenty of spaces and free parking. Serves a variety of typical Chinese cuisine. Food, service and price are ok. They are not horrible but not the best either, but taste is a subjective thing.

  3. Food is ok. Dim Sum only available in the morning. Food service time is acceptable. The restaurant is clean. Parking spaces in front of the restaurant are limited, but there are lots of parking lot at the back of the restaurant.

  4. Im liking the food so much. Last time brought oyster, they help us cooked it! Im also glad that they have free food all thw time. Last time was free dessert, this time was 汤圆. Thank you for the dedication!

  5. Dimsum selection was generous and traditional, with most diners making a beeline for classics like siu mai, har gow, chicken feet and cheung fun stuffed with prawns and charsiew. Try the xiao long bao, these soupy parcels are heavenly! Also had sweet and sour fish with crispy batter, inside was tender and flaky. And the clay pot dish was so flavourful !
The lay-out is nice and spacious, highly recommend for occasion spot (wedding, birthday etc) to impress the family or out-of-town guests.
Service was attentive and efficient despite the hordes of people.
