  1. Would say the food quite good not very crowded at 2pm. Service not very up to standard for Resturant. Some are not able to understand Chinese luckily we have a friend able to speak abit of Malay.
Worth to give it a try for the food.

  2. Wedding set meal is quite good. Not very fanciful but well done. Roasted smoke duck is delicious. Steamed fish is also fresh and not over nor undercooked. However service can be slow sometime due to understaff.

  3. My recent visit to Regent Restaurant left me somewhat dissatisfied, which is why I think it’s important to give you, my feedback. Although I appreciate the ambiance and service at Regent Restaurant, I found a few aspects of my dining experience to be less than satisfactory.

1: Food Portion and Price: I noticed that the portion sizes of the dishes I ordered small and the prices is higher, as a customer, I value a fair balance between portion size and pricing.

2: Taste: The dishes had a milder taste than I expected. I have always appreciated the rich and flavourful cuisine at Regent Restaurant, but the Flavors seemed less and the taste was somewhat flat and uninspired.

3: Beverages and Snacks: I also noticed that the prices of beverages and snacks, such as longan, tea drinks and nuts, were relatively high compared to other dining establishments in the area. This made the overall cost of my dining experience higher than I had anticipated.

I want to emphasize that my intention in providing this feedback is not to criticize but to offer constructive input from a customer who genuinely appreciates what Regent Restaurant has to offer. I believe that open communication can contribute to improvement and maintaining high standards.

  4. This restaurant has been here for a long, long time, as I can remember. We came here for a wedding luncheon on a Saturday. This place is famous for its good quality of food years ago and still maintaining its quality till now. The service here is good and fast too. I especially like their ‘five seasons’ plate, superior shark fin soup, steam grouper fish with cloud ears, and the vegetarian dish. All were delicious and brought back memories of those days, the type of old school kind of cooking.

  5. A well known restaurant in Seremban and they host large functions too.
The food is Cantonese and Hakka cuisine.

Apparently it used to be situated across the road… A decent place now… My first time here and tried a few dishes… The ikan Paris taste good, not overcooked and the flesh is juicy… The sotong taste quite bland… Paku Vege is overcook, it’s soggy and not crunchiness in it… Burnt crab taste quite decent

Didn’t expect to find Nemo here. Ordered a tilapia fish slightly over 1kg and 3 small dishes for 4 pax, the waiter did not mention about the size of the fish. Jaw drop and appetite gone when I saw a small dead Nemo on my table.

When we asked the waiter, he said this is 900 gram (1kg RM55). The problem is the size actually. If no more big fish just tell me I would have ordered something else for the elders to have a complete and full dinner.

Hahaha, ok, my first and last time here.

The coconut chicken soup was good & tasty but the portion is small and very expensive at RM25. Fish head noodles was decent, peppery milky soup, the fish has a couple of bones. A big portion for single serving shared among 3 for RM15. Didn’t try the seafood & duck as it was expensive and we wanted to go elsewhere to try out other foods out. The lady boss was not friendly

Very delicious local food, crab is of the best. Fishhead noodle meehun quite standard and no surprise. Price is reasonable compared to the level of food. Maybe good to improve the level of cleanliness of the surrounding and the washroom is not convenient for wheelchair.

Tourist who read this, yes u should thank god.. I’m local, so seriously don’t screw your holiday with this restaurant. They are DISHONEST. Ordered a tilapia fish asking more than 1kg in size. They serve us such a small fish (approx 700gram) but they charge 900gram. Moreover they say big fish is finish. Why don’t u tell us earlier. Basically they are cheating on weight!! Moreover fried fish is soggy. When u ordered drink with ice, they bring u non ice drink, when u ask, they say ICE finish, why u don’t tell at the first place again. Service is poor, they will acknowledge but they ignore. Honestly, Restaurant is overrated by marketing. most of the customer are malaysian tourist and taste is so so. Hope this help tourist to find other better restaurant.

Ordered assam seafood, salted fish pork belly, fried tofu, stir fry vege, 4 rice, 1 warm water, 1 pot chinese sea. All their dish portion are extremely small compare to other restaurant yet more expensive then other restaurant of same standard. Taste wise its just average, nothing special. So overall it is consider very expensive, not worth it. I definately wont go again

Food was good. The deep-fried pork knuckle was huge at RM68. I forgot to take photos of the flavourful pig intestines, that came with generous topping of deep fried lards and garlic. The plate of stirfry sweet potatoes leaves was very delicious too. Highly recommended is the assam sauce deep-fried tilapia fish. The gravy went very well with rice. All in all, this is a hidden gem for good, value-for-money meals. Thumbs up.

The food was average. Locals and returning customers like to dine here. Plenty of carpark space but the restaurant is usually full and crowded during dinner time, especially weekends. Recommended to come early before it gets crowded. Overall service and cleanliness is good.
