When we asked the waiter, he said this is 900 gram (1kg RM55). The problem is the size actually. If no more big fish just tell me I would have ordered something else for the elders to have a complete and full dinner.
Hahaha, ok, my first and last time here.
Would say the food quite good not very crowded at 2pm. Service not very up to standard for Resturant. Some are not able to understand Chinese luckily we have a friend able to speak abit of Malay.
Worth to give it a try for the food.
Wedding set meal is quite good. Not very fanciful but well done. Roasted smoke duck is delicious. Steamed fish is also fresh and not over nor undercooked. However service can be slow sometime due to understaff.
My recent visit to Regent Restaurant left me somewhat dissatisfied, which is why I think it’s important to give you, my feedback. Although I appreciate the ambiance and service at Regent Restaurant, I found a few aspects of my dining experience to be less than satisfactory.
1: Food Portion and Price: I noticed that the portion sizes of the dishes I ordered small and the prices is higher, as a customer, I value a fair balance between portion size and pricing.
2: Taste: The dishes had a milder taste than I expected. I have always appreciated the rich and flavourful cuisine at Regent Restaurant, but the Flavors seemed less and the taste was somewhat flat and uninspired.
3: Beverages and Snacks: I also noticed that the prices of beverages and snacks, such as longan, tea drinks and nuts, were relatively high compared to other dining establishments in the area. This made the overall cost of my dining experience higher than I had anticipated.
I want to emphasize that my intention in providing this feedback is not to criticize but to offer constructive input from a customer who genuinely appreciates what Regent Restaurant has to offer. I believe that open communication can contribute to improvement and maintaining high standards.
This restaurant has been here for a long, long time, as I can remember. We came here for a wedding luncheon on a Saturday. This place is famous for its good quality of food years ago and still maintaining its quality till now. The service here is good and fast too. I especially like their ‘five seasons’ plate, superior shark fin soup, steam grouper fish with cloud ears, and the vegetarian dish. All were delicious and brought back memories of those days, the type of old school kind of cooking.
A well known restaurant in Seremban and they host large functions too.
The food is Cantonese and Hakka cuisine.
