6 months agoThe electricans somewhat know what they are doing. Unfortunately the company owner does not understand what service is. They did an additional point and relocation of my light switch. Was not warned that the marks left behind from the relocation is not covered. Electrician reroute my existing fiber optics for internet thru a separate conduit. After they left, 2 issues surfaced. 1st issue, no internet and after troubleshooting with the ISP, change to a new fiber optics which I bought out of my own pocket money and it works. Thus during the rerouting thru the new conduit may have caused a breakage, I didn’t ask the owner for compensation. I asked him to send his guys to place it back into the conduit as it was somewhat double-sided taped and silicon sealed, where my previous broken fiber optic cable is. 2nd, my home theater system which was always connected to Targus power strip , since the introduction of the new power point, after turning off the power and turning it on, it trips the 16A clip circuit alone. Using a different Targus power strip also cause the issue, thus called him to verify cause it started after they installed the additional PowerPoint on the same 16A clip circuit. Finally the electricians came to convert the conduit from double sided to drill into the wall, took out the broken fiber optic and lay my new fiber optic into it and sealed it. Next they tested the circuit and state nothing is wrong maybe the power load is heavy thus might need to go 20A clip etc. Told me the boss ask for SGD$70 , I was shocked! This is verification works based on what they did previously which I paid SGD$220, spoke with the owner and he was adament on transport charges and all the reasons one will give as as part of running a business. End up I paid SGD$60. Please be warn.2 months agoCalled at 10.45am and an electrician arrived at 11.30am and resolved the issue within 30 mins. He was professional in finding the issue and resolved it quickly and even checked the other lights in our house. Total $160 for transport, labour, checking and change 2 new LED lights on a weekend. Would definitely recommend to engage their service.a month agoThe AVV electricians came yesterday to replace lights and take wall mounted CCTV. Their service was poorly done, they kept pushing me by telling me they need to leave even before finishing the job. They didn’t clean the dust after their work, completely unprofessional i’ve never seen. I wanted to use them to re-install lights in our new condo, but I had to stop it because the service quality was poor. I will need to find another vendor.2 weeks agoBad. They came and touch the remote control, touch my ceiling fan without dismantling it to check for the fault. In less the 15 min, they tell me that they cannot repair and charge me $50. I don’t mind paying the $50 if they at least put in effort to thoroughly check for the cause of the faulty fan. They did not even bother to dismantle the fan. How to know what’s wrong with the fan by just looking and touching the surface of the fan. I feel that I am being scammed.3 weeks agoI don’t usually write reviews but this time I really have to complain about their unprofessional workmanship and bad customer service. 2 guys came to change my ceiling lights bulbs from fluorescence to LED. One guy removed the ceiling light GLASS cover and simply placed it at his feet. He then removed the ballast from the ceiling but it dropped from his hand and broke the glass cover underneath. When I asked them how to settle this, they initially said it’s ok to leave the LED light uncovered. When I refused to accept, they then said they will go back to check if they can find a replacement cover for me.3 days later, I tried to contact one of the guys but he did not answer my calls and Whatsapp messages. I called their boss Viswan, and he promised to check with his men first. But after 2 more days, same thing happened with the boss – no response at all!
It’s a very bad experience for me. I am NEVER gonna use them again!!!

3 months agoThank you Winway Home Services. Very responsive and fast. WhatsApp them yesterday to check if they’re able to install extra power point on the same day. Slot was booked at 5.30pm. They check and advised from which switch point to point that are SAFE POWER POINT. Work was nicely done and fast but there’s slightly slanted at the corner of the cable?. Price was reasonable. Highly recommended ?2 months agoRecently, I engaged them to install new waste and water pipes to my new sink. The plumbers are very skillful and hardworking. They discussed with me the final pipe routing and worked non stop till job was completed. The price is very reasonable and was quoted before installation work on site during site visit. They are also very accommodating to my last minute change in date. Highly recommended.a month agoSecond time using their service. Their workers have good teamwork and knowledge. Efficient planning and has a lot of common sense to protect flooring and basic things without needing to instruct. Communication is v v efficient, zero language barrier. Can trust their service and their rates are very competitive and transparent. Will get them for help in my next home too. ??(Used electrical works, reposition led downlights, replace water heater, their plastering works is esp well done.)
2 months agoDid my lighting installation with them, service was really good and lighting point change was done seamlessly! Workers were really polite and even offered good suggestions about the height of my pendant lights. Putty works done to conceal were good. Charging is explained to you well at the start and no ridiculous extra surcharge done unlike certain companies out there.a month agoSeller is very responsive, set date and confirmation quickly and the pricing is really good too. Really professional and get dismantling done swiftly. Also applied wall putty and dispose of the work. Very recommended!

After staying 3 years, my electricity tripped 3 times because my electric stove did not have a dedicated circuit. Lesson learnt, please do dedicated circuit for high power consumption kitchen appliance.
Engaged the team at Competence and Chong reach on site about an hour. Surveyed the house and patiently explained what are the best practices. Then I engaged his team to reworked the whole house.
Day 1 of the 4 day job, I requested to add a scope to change 17 of the spot lights to LED. The team accepted and bought the lights for me.
Day 2, they helped me install a water heater as well.
Still the work was completed on time, neat wiring on DB and professional quality.
Best for the owner of the house to be onsite to discuss with the team on how the wiring should run to meet expectations.

Very competent emergency service to restore power in our apartment. Came late at night and arrived within 45 minutes to attend to our emergency call. Identified the problem, isolated a faulty water heater and restored all other electrical items. Very professional service. He’s in my contacts list !!!
Electrician Sam and Kobir are polite and experienced . They solved all my house lights and restored my electrical needs. Not only they sorted out my circuit breaker issue, they also mould a new cable neatly and label switch so that i know which circuit control lights and sockets. Their boss Mr Teo is also a responsible electrician vendor. He came too to see that my house electric is now running safe. Thank you all for the good service.
