Simple ‘pick & mix’ style restaurant offering a good selection of dishes. Price vary depending on the type of dishes chosen. I chose 2 beancurd/egg dishes, 1 vegetable and 1 rice that came up to RM5.50: good value for money. And they all tasted nice. Service is fast too. There is a step to enter the restaurant.

Tip: Watch out for the fans: they blow really hard. By the time I left the place, I looked completely wind swept!

    The founding stepping stone of fast food restaurant in Sarawak, right after SugarBun. ???? Chicago 7, well known for having pasta, fried chicken, chicken and beef burgers and vegetarian meals. ????? Slow service on weekends. ?? Great food, especially the quality. ??

    When I have no idea where to go for lunch or dinner, Chicago always comes up in my mind. Their chicken meal is always delicious and nice. The drink can be refilled but have to pay for a small fee. The environment is comfortable. I like to order the cake that is delicious too.

    The ordering service is super super slow. Took nearly 5 mins for a guest plus one counter open only. Should hire more people to take order and clean up the table. There are many tables with finished food that no people tidy up. Came here twice a week and every time same problem.

    Food is rather tasteless. Drink are all cordial with few choices. Pricing rather on the high side with this kind of quality. Seating area is very narrow almost like low budget roadside canteen. 7-10: will come again.

    We had the special crispy chicken breast and grilled chicken breast. Unfortunately all the healthy meals were not available due to unavailability of salad leaves.

  1. Newly refurbished McD’s restaurant…. Fantastic location. Nearby to all the top hotels in Kuching. Open 24hrs. The new self service ordering & payment kiosks are rather challenging to use… Too many options, especially with people forming a queue behind you….very stressful to complete your transaction…

    Self Service kiosks for ordering in multiple languages, so no language barriers.
    Large upstairs seating with areas that can be partitioned for private McFunctions.
    McCafe section with you want their sort of premium Cafe offerings.

  3. As usual, McDonald’s offers a variety of burgers and fried chicken. But this McD is just in front of Kuching’s main landmark, the Cat Statue. After having a McDonald’s, you can have a picture. You can also walk to the Kuching waterfront from here.

  4. Average McDonald’s restaurant. Burgers and fries. Nasi lemak is better then the burgers I dare say. Somehow the fries taste different then other country McDonald’s.
