Let me break down for you in 3 simple reasons why you should not come here:

1. Respect your own time and save yourself the misery & money (literally). This Tampines Shell Kiosk has had problems with their POS system so many times. Meaning you can’t even scan your Shell membership or use preferred credit cards to get your discount or cashback. Today they made us wait almost 30mins with NO solution. Didn’t even communicate with us on how long it would take to resolve the issue.

2. Staff have no idea what to do when this happens. Don’t even have a clue on what contingency solution there is. Once again, you lose time and possibly money. They just say, “You want faster go off, just pay cash & full amt”

3. No attempts of customer recovery or compensation. Even after making payment, there is no attempt from the staff to apologise for this mishap, don’t even offer compensation? I mean its your problem right? At least you should offer something from your customers giving up their discounts. Mind you, it’s an additional 16% discount that I gave up today. Plus the points which is a further opportunity for future redemptions.

Counter personnel work like sloths even when there’s not much of a queue on normal days. Mainly because they don’t even know what buttons to press. Not to mention their attitudes while serving customers.

Abysmal attitude. I frequently refuel at this station. Usually, the service was ok. Today I went there to just to collect parcel and no refueling. The cashier gave me a big fat attitude. Mind you, it was 3 pm, and nobody was after me. Before, it was just two customers. Not sure why she was so unhappy and rude and just left my parcel on the counter and walked away. I will not go there refueling since the staff attitude is so bad?. Or that’s a double standard? No refueling so earn less and then can give attitude??

I have been a regular to this establishment and was happy with their service so far. Giving it a 1 star due to an extremely rude staff who was shouting and abusing for the car not being in the exact location where he wanted before he starts the complicated process of drying it off with a cloth. Later he took off with his cigarette packet leaving the whole place with just 1 guy and without drying my car. Extremely disrespectful. Not sure how customer facing jobs are given to such guys.

Worst car wash experience. Do not waste your money here unless you don’t mind having your day dampened by poor attitude. One particular staff was extremely rude and furiously barking instructions at us, only stopping after I gently reminded him that we cannot hear him from inside the car and it’s useless to shout furiously. One star for the rest of his colleagues who profusely apologised on his behalf after.

    This car wash used to be good. However, things have gone for the worst now. The standards of cleaning are very very poor. I would not recommend anyone to come here.

    One of the worst car cleaning services (if not, the worst). Inconsistent car washing delivery. They did not put up a sign clearly to say no vacuuming. You only realised when you requested for vacuuming and they simply replied “this week no vacuuming as many went overseas ” with the big sign still hanging there “vacuum available from 830am”. Usually I will go somewhere else to wash unless no choice as I am just staying nearby.

    Dear Caltex Carwash service owner , I am writing to express my extreme dissatistaction with the car wash service received at your establishment on the date 14/10/23 12am .Despite being busy, I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention as the service attitude I encountered was unacceptable During my visit, I observed that there were approximately five staff members on site. However, not all of them seemed to be actively engaged in the car wash operations. This lack of efficiency and coordination was disappointing, especially considering the number of personnel available. Furthermore, I have attached a photo of my car’s bonnet as evidence. I believe that the cloth used during the car wash was dirty and possibly contained sand particles. As a result, my car bonnet now has unsightly marks and scratches resembling a sketch. This careless handling of the cleaning materials reflects poorly on the quality of service provided at your car wash facility. I am writing this in the hopes of seeking proper compensation for the damages caused to my vehicle. I kindly request that a representative from the management team contacts me promptly to address this matter and provide an appropriate solution. Alternatively, if necessary, I am prepared to visit your location in person to raise a formal complaint and discuss the issue further. I trust that you take customer feedback seriously and will take swift action to rectify this situation. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I eagerly await your response.

    A regular here, most of the time cashier is able to understand and provide discount upon showing lalamove account. However cashier of 30th September 2023,3am wasn’t able to despite already showing. Only noticed the receipt when I’m far gone. Before you come after me, i also got other items upon checking out hence the final amount did not look suspicious at that point.

    1. This morning I came, pump attendant standing beside my car talking to another attendant instead of assisting me with the petrol refill.

      Not that I don’t know how to pump myself, but this type of working attitude, better stay at home.

    2. 28 Jul 515pm, I was at pump 4, saw the attendant was chit chatting with another attendant and not attending to me, so I self pumping this time.
      While making payment indoor, the customer in front of me got a small free gift for doing self pumping, so I requesting for mine, but I got the cashier showing black face and claim ONLY pump 1 & 2 entitle, I politely ask again then she keep silent and ignore me 🙁

    3. My car tyre was totally flat and was stranded with my cat. The staff Mr Fong Kok Fai extended his assistance to me. He tried to get my tyre pumped up. Although unsuccessful, I really appreciated his help.
      While waiting for technical assistance from workshop, he told placed cones to inform other cars rather than I need to go explain why I could not move my car.

    4. Bad attitude over pump not being on the same side as petrol inlet.

      Got ignored just because of that and i was being questioned how long have i been driving. The pump can stretch over to pump right? Why so inflexible? Even the hose is more flexible than human brain?

    5. Repeated experience! Staff not aware of promotions that they are running.. it’s obvious on the product tag and crates. Either the manager is not doing the job of updating both product or staff or the promotions are just for show.
