This is my first time come to Perpustam since moved to Melaka on 2015 ? Perpustam is a nice place to bring your kids during weekend or school holidays. It is not only a place to read, there are many activities can be done ?
they have a lot of good facilities and very comfortable and nice environment. the books also got many choice
turn off when own bags not allowed. too disappointed causing me to walk away and never return perhaps. should mentioned in the site or any website what are the rules and regulations. my mistake as i thought every state library will be the same. it’s very inconvenient for us to carry all the notes, utensils, ipad,books,notebooks.
parking wise there’s space to park.
by the way, I’m offended with the way staff insist on checking all the things in the bag, but ends up, can’t bring it also. so, instead of checking the bag, just told from the start not allowed to bring unapproved bag.

16.8.2023 Environment not bad but air conditioner was only functioning at ground floor and first floor. Locker is available for rental (but why?? Most other libraries offer free locker)
Not bad la but kids under 12 can’t go upstairs
