2 years agoHorrible experience here… Got into an accident and wanted to make a report 12am. It is supposedly open 24 hours but when I went they told me the system was down I have to wait till earliest 2am (with no guarantee). I made the decision to report the next day and had to wait 14 days for the official report, with minimal information given about the follow up trip. After 14 days I returned to the station to collect the report only to find out the office is only open weekdays (8am-2pm). I was not informed of this at all nor was this stated on any website therefore, I’ve wasted my trip here.
Overall, an inefficient system and officers with bad attitudes+lacking provision of crucial information.
Very disappointed and frustrated as other smaller police stations have better efficiency than PJ. The service level does not match the status of PJ as one of the most modern cities in Malaysia.
2 years agoworse police station i’ve ever encountered. Went there on the 13th September 2021, asked the lady officer if i could cross state to bring a car from my hometown back to KL for work transportation and will be in Perak for 1 week. She gave me a greenlight, and told me to submit the form to be approved today (15/9/2021) since i planned to go back to perak on the 17th september. Went there today, a different officer attended me, and now this male officer dont know anything about my case since the lady officer didnt informed him, and now i have to explain from the beginning. Now, he asked me millions of questions, and i had to repeat multiple times for him to understand. He said differently from what the lady officer from 2 days ago said, and i cant cross the state more than 2 days. At this point, i am terribly upset as i had arranged my mandate leave, and i cant retract it as it has been approved. Logically, i need to send the car to workshop and it would not be done in 2 days period. The male staff has zero attention to listen to my side of the story, to me this is a waste of my time. Get your officers in line, work uniformly, we are not here to waste your time, so dont waste ours.2 years agoFast and efficient service. I had all the requirements for interstate travel (permit form + evidence). They just asked for my passport/visa (I’m a foreigner). Then they stamped it right away. Less than 5 minutes!3 years agoPolice personnel are friendly and made sure i was comfortable. cell was spacious , pillows were a half bag of teh o ais. handcuffs were abit tight but thats how they are supposed to be. the other guys were friendly and gave me a stick of Gudang Garam (clove cigarettes). Loved that the place to pee was just a hole in the cell. Chef makes rice 3 times a day which is kinda boring, change the menu! but overall stellar experience. Will return!4 years agoParking at night time is easier and the police officers at the front counter are okay. I wouldn’t say polite but they are okay. Please make sure you are coming to the right place as there are a few police station nearby. One can easily comes to the wrong place and need to run around again.

2 years agoThis is the only Police Station that can apply Police Permit for intestate travel during MCO for Petaling Jaya Utara folks. The police officers on duty change every day, so sometimes you are lucky to get easy going officer that approve the permit with minimal questions. If that day unlucky, you get one old grumpy officer that asks many questions and still reject your application.3 years agoEveryone there treated me very well, cells are full of bugs and cockroaches just the way I like it. Food was great, they gave us rice twice a day and few rolls of bread with hot tea every morning, very London of em. Though I am more of a coffee kinda guy, perhaps orange juice once in a while but who am I to make any demands right hahahaha ? A very handsome criminal as what everyone in my cell calls me, I’m just happy they don’t call me tonight. It was a great trip overall, I met a lot of cool prisoners and delightful officers. Looking forward to be locked up here again, 10/10. A very memorable experience2 years agoWent to get police letter to cross district to klia, front gate officer was very friendly, told me to park the car opposite the main road. I hv downloaded the form and stated reason for traveling. No queues at all at 11am, officer Nazarudin was very friendly and granted the approval letter without questions asked.5 years agoSergeant attitude is at it’s worst. Shouting and insulting at me. He told me to throw my phone away since I’m on the phone with someone else.He even insulted me saying I did wrong in all the procedures in making reports.2 years agoVery efficient police work. Kudos to the officers in easing my matters. Quick for interstate travel-related

This happened probably few weeks ago, end of Jan month 2021. My grandfather unfortunately passed away on the 21st Jan 2021. Since he was in Bentong Pahang, and it was during MCO, we had to apply permit to travel different state in order to attend his funeral. Hence, me and my sister went to this police station to fill up the travel state form. However, since it was our first time applying, we did not know what documents we need to get approval.
So we were sitting inside the police station, and I called my parents to ask what are the documents required. However, I have forgot that we are not allow to use handphone in the police station. So while my dad was telling me the documents required, there was this policeman, he wasn’t wearing a mask, (so much for SOP), and shouted at me across the room, telling me to go out and talk..
I was already devastated that my grandfather passed away, stressed of trying to figure out what are the documents required to travel. And this policeman was so rude to me. You could’ve at least talk nicely to me to talk outside, why do you need to shout?
What did I do so wrongly for you to shout so loud to me?
Anyways, I went out of the police station and talked. Long story short, at the end, we did not apply the permit because it was too rush and also we were already fed up with the attitude of these policemen.
Wearing mask is mandatory, anyone not wearing a mask you people can just fine them RM 1000, however you, as a police not even wearing one. Yet you guys have the audacity to instruct people to wear mask in public.
Honestly, i did not expect the policeman in Malaysia to act like gangster.
Disappointed and will avoid this place AT ALL COST.
sergeant could improve his communication skill
Should reward safe driving
Should focus on preventing accident and education rather than finding fault
Should give warning to first timer
Outsource this to AMERICAN SUB CONTRACTORS. Any issues, file complaints to AMERICANS. Nanti AMERICANS will get back to Foreign Ministry of Malaysia and if the complaints are in big quantities , then The AMERICAN GOVT will downgrade Malaysia in their many many scales. No worries. any dissatisfaction, just file to the AMERICANS. No need to discuss with THE MALAYSIANS, waste of time.
The service is very bad.
I went there to log a report and it was heavy rain. So I went in the premise with my car and wind down my window screen and asked him whether can I put my car here just for awhile for me to log a report. He never even bother to ask what kind of report, he just instructed me to park my car outside and walk in.
Meaning if an emergency case, the treatment will be the same as what I’ve got. So sad to receive 1st impression of this police station.
Must improve communication . instead u calling the people as a (Oii) How long will be taken To call encik / cik …? I never been complain about anybody and any services but since the incident happen I have too. please monitor staff communication skills to victims or those are coming up. Thank you for services …
