Brighter, more spacious, and with a quantum leap in frozen foodstuffs, it is no wonder they saw throngs of eager shoppers for the last three days. Perhaps the half-hearted one-for-one offers were the lure. Or just curiosity?
Cosmetics aside, there is an observation; racks of common everyday items such as drinks, insecticides, canned foods, and even a row of chillers were placed outside the air-conditioned store
This would mean shoppers will have to backtrack in and out of the store for these items as the cashier points (just two) are inside.
Pilfering? They have CCTV cameras as a deterrent.
So, in a nutshell, they added frozen goods inside and pushed out the “old stuff.”
Large supermarket with fresh produces to electrical stuff such as fans etc. Live fishes available with shell sea food such as venus clams, lobsters, crabs. In the morning, butcher will be around to cut up freshly delivered pork. Attached side is a air conditioned food court with outdoor seats available. Place is wheelchair accessible with public toilets. No WiFi coverage. Building itself is rather old, indoor condition looked good.
Really a super market. You can get live sea foods also. Variety of fruits. Very near to the main road,parking is also available.
Great as my weekly purchase supermarket. The food is fresh and good to consume on the same day. Prawns was a great deal alway gave good discount.
Visited on nov 17. 10.30pm. Had a transaction issue and called lui xia over the phone at 11pm. She was a big help.
Shifted here few yrs ago..on/ off i wil go to nearest ss supermarket..one particular staff(MIRANA Jaman) caught my attention..her attitude was always positive without choosing her customer or discrimination, she wil assist customers regardless how bz she was..while queuing to pay..i noticed she’s full of positive vibes..sure she took pride in whatever she doing..Is a joy to hv ppl like her in the service industry…Congratulations Sheng Siong!!
