5 months agoSuper good haha the closest to what I used to eat as a kid. Price is pretty reasonable for a restaurant, friendly staffs. We got 2 one-person sets and 2 drinks, and paid a total of 306.000. If you’re looking for Vietnamese cuisine besides Pho or Banh My that Vietnamese local eat everyday, try this restaurant.a year agoordered the set meal for 2 here and a plate of fried squid cakes. the fried fish looks like frozen fish as the bones stick to the meat rather than fall off easily when the fish is fresh. the fish still tastes good and crispy. the crab soup is light but flavorful. the sweet and sour pork ribs portion is very small, only four small pieces of ribs. the rice is just the way i like it, rice grains like fried rice but freshly cooked. the most flavorful dish is the fried squid cakes. the more you munch the more flavors come out. the Vietnamese condensed milk filter coffee is good quality. the lunch crowd almost fills 70% of the restaurant.a year agoFood wise, it was above average. My fav was the pork and prawn dish, following by the fried spring roll. The rest were very average. Service is not great here. We ordered fresh coconut, waited for a while, had to nudge them about the order. The bigger letdown was the cleanliness of the place. We arrived at about 1pm +, a lot of customers have left the restaurant but tables were a big mess. Check out the trash on the floor. It was just right outside the restaurant main entrance which made it quite unappealing. If you are here for the food, maybe it’s still ok.11 months agoCertainly a nice place for reasonably priced dinner while it is relatively expensive elsewhere. We ordered set 2.1 and asked to change the caramelized pork with ribs from set 2.2, appreciate the flexibility! On top of that, we also ordered a braised fish pot. Everything was tasty except the pickled eggplants, perhaps we were just not used to the taste of pickled veggies here.
We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant was relatively quiet which we enjoyed a lot!
Also had a coconut and ginger tea. Total was 410000 vnd.
7 months agoGood food. Thịt kho tasted like how we cook at home and the children loved this. Bò Lá lốt is OK or average. We love the idea with the family menu. It’s like a small, private buffet. Thr atmosphere is comfy. Service is very nice and friendly. Highly recommended! - Address: Đường Mỹ Khê 4, Phước Mỹ, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam

5 months agoAmazing food and great service. The restaurant has a very plain decor but dishes we received were so well presented as in a top price restaurant. Not only well presented but tasty above our expectations. All were full of flavour and with quality ingredients. We took: garlic & butter prawns, passionfruit fish (surprising but hugely recommended) and vegan spring rolls (delicious). The owner was extremely friendly and waitress nice and polite. We would come back there again.2 months agoSix stars. Never wrote a review right after eating. This was phenomenal. As a Vietnamese American I was raised on Vietnamese food and this was just so good. Our VN trip has taken us from Hanoi to Hoi An and now da nang and this might top it especially for the wide spread that they offer.Service was phenomenal. They cancelled an order after we realized the portions were huge. The ambience is homely and cool. Not a hole in the wall which made me surprised to eat such good food from a modern looking place. 10/10 would come back.
We ordered the fried spring rolls, special rice, lemongrass chicken skewers (wow), and shrimp with passion fruit.
4 weeks agoWe have such an amazing experience at this fabulous restaurant in Danang. The owner and the whole staff are so kind and friendly. We come to this restaurant to celebrate my bday and we don’t really expect anything but just 5 mins later , the whole staff carry a gorgeous bday cake to surprise me. The owner tells us that cake is actually for her customer’s bday tomorrow but she will order another one so no worries. I am super grateful and it really makes my bday so memorable. Oh and the food is divine, everything we order is just delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who is visiting Danang!!4 months agoNice authentic vietnamese cuisine! They got homey ambience and quieter area than the usual restaurants nearby. We love the lemongrass pork skewer and tilapia passion fruit ? Highly recommend!a month agoExcellent service and the freshest of seafood. We had sweet and sour squid and the seafood noodles.Lovely ambience in the restaurant also. Highly recommend.
