  It is truly my best hostel experience ever!!! I went there with me and my friend, and the staff there were super friendly to us and they have pets there too! It’s clean and tidy, overall maintained very well. We also made friends with some of the guests there!

  Located in a nice spot where you don’t need to walk very far or just want to walk around to and fro Jonker!

  Yote 28 is worth every penny, they really set the bar for hostel living.

  I planned my trip expecting to be alone for 5 days, but I ended up eating with a different group of people every meal for all 5 days!

  Super cozy and comfortable beds, clean and quiet in the rooms as well. The lounge area is the best part because everyone just chills there and you make friends from all over the world!

  You get free coffee + tea, playstations, karaoke machines, Netflix, and the best counter staff who would join you for the activities and share about Malacca.

  We went for dinner + clubbing as a hostel as well ?

  It’s a really convenient 5mins walk from the main attraction (Jonker street), with 7-11 and supper spots nearby.

  Clean toilets with warm showers, soap and hairdryers are provided as well!

  Bring earplugs in case of snoring and your own towel (you can rent for 5rm there as well), and you’re good to go!

  One of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. The location is very convenient, walking distance from most of Malacca’s must check out spots. The people were very friendly and the premises were immaculate.

  Many people I met at the hostel said it was the best hostel in Melaka. And it is! Best hostel and best people you will meet in Melaka. They’re very welcoming, very multi cultural and I felt very included. I stayed for 2 weeks, but if I had more time, I would’ve loved to stay longer.

  Will come back whenever I’m in the area again!

  Despite being pretty old, it seems to be finely taken care of and clean. The price is affordable, good for a cheap stay. They also have an ironing board, lounge area and breakfast is prepared too (tho I didn’t get to eat it bcs I woke up pretty late). There’s a restaurant and a laundromat sandwiching the hostel. I wouldn’t mind coming here again in the future.

  One of the cleanest and spacious hostel I stayed at! The way that it is built, it is very thoughtful for the travellers. From the room layouts to each bedding to shower stalls! Clean and spacious bedding with 2 outlets and secured mini box compartment for valueable items. Railings along inside the bedding area to hang personal towels, clothes, etc! Mini lighting inside the bedding as well! Pluffy pillows, nice cooling system inside room, cozy blanket! Very spacious bathroom along with shelving unit and hangers to put toiletries, etc! Staff in particular Alan – super friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended!!!

  superb budget hostel!

  one of the best hostels i’ve stayed in so far! The bedding was super comfy! not far from the city centre, the staff was super friendly and helped me book a taxi since I needed to move to another city that day. Overall I enjoyed my experience staying in the hostel! ?

  Restaurant only: We did our laundry in the Laundromat next door and spend the waiting time here. Friendly service and a variety of Malay foods. We enjoyed the fresh fruit juice in a modern atmosphere.

  I didn’t stay at the hostel but I’ve stopped at the cafe downstairs for a drink and I’ve enjoyed staying there while waiting for Villa Sentosa to open, reading one of the books that are available. The owner was also kind and he called the Villa Sentosa’s caretaker to find out when they would open.
