When I spoke with another law firm about the same visa, they provided me with conflicting information, that if true, would imply that Mahanakorn Partners weren’t honest about the eligibility criteria in my initial consult with them.
When I brought this new information to the attention of Mahanakorn Partners and requested further clarification of my eligibility for the visa I was already in the process of investing a lot of money to obtain, I was met with absolute avoidance of my questions and a demand to pay 80,000 baht upfront if I wanted any further assistance.
To expect a client to pay 80,000 baht upfront for a visa application that they can’t determine if the client is even eligible for makes me feel that Mahanakorn Partners might be a decent law firm for simple matters, but they do not possess the depth of knowledge to tackle more complex issues and their correspondence with me indicates that they’re more interested in making money than helping clients achieve their expected outcomes.
