It is a bit hidden from sight, but once you find an entrance you will find many stalls selling everything from food to clothing. There is also a fresh meat section where they chop up the animals to your specs. Not for the fainthearted. There are lots of connected undercover walkways, forming a maze of stalls. You need an hour or so to have a proper look around. Prices are good.

Here you will find souvenirs, clothes and traditional clothes. There are many people but they don’t disturb. Sellers will offer a lot of things and they also like to haggle, don’t rush to buy at the first price quoted. Definitely visit

Good place to buy clothes, fruit shoes, flower and etc but very crowded and cramped. You must know how to bargain and a lot of tourists. Same as the china town market at Chiang Mai but more crowded

It’s a pretty touristy market that sells a wide range of goods, like dried seafood, fabric, apparel, and souvenirs. It was super crowded when we were there. The fabric stalls claim that they can make a dress in an hour. I question the quality of the garment. If you’re looking for something unique to bring home as souvenirs, skip this market.

This is a sheltered market with stalls selling a huge varieties of local produce such as dried seafood, dried mangoes, cashew nuts, snacks, straw products like bags, hats, household items etc. It can be stressful or fun to bargain for everything depending on whether one has the experience on how to strike a bargain. I was amazed at how many languages the stall owners here could speak and even how fast they could convert the price to whatever currencies of the places of origin of their clients.

Buzzing market selling food, dried goods, fashion apparels like t-shirts, shoes and bags. We were there around 8am and it wasn’t too crowded. We were there to get nuts and snacks to bring home. Prices were fairly reasonable and so we didn’t bargain much. Vendors were friendly and not pushy. Enjoyable experience.
