  This is my first overseas riding experience. It was really great… especially with the terrain and weather where we can’t get in Singapore. Well taken care by Shangrila Cycling Tours – SCT for the food, accommodation, support vehicles and very importantly, a solid guide from Singapore (Alvin) to lead and ride with you.

  There may have others offering similar tours, which is most probably cheaper because it’s 2 days less, that will also mean it demands real stamina to complete within the shorter days, more intensive or challenging for sure. It’s not how fast you should ride, but the experiences, feel and beautiful scenery all the way… the key is always to enjoy and complete it.

  SCT have really thought through the whole experience of the trip well, so kudos to the planning and execution! ??

  The 16-24/6/23 Trip to Switzerland was my 7th since 2009 with Alvin,and it was by far the best! The cycling combined with train rides made the tougher slopes bearable…and the scenery was out of the world! Looking forward to the next one to Europe in 2024!

  Was greeted by Alvin on my first overseas riding trip to Desaru, Malaysia. He is a pleasant, helpful and experienced guide that ensured the entire 2Days trip was safe and fun to cater to us.   Approached Alvin from SCT to organise a Desaru Trip exclusively for our cycling group and he took care of everything. During the rides, he rode with us and it was clear he knew the routes well which gave us the confidence of being safe although we also had a support vehicle. The accommodation and dinner selected was well thought of in terms of convenience and also standard. I won’t hesitate to recommend SCT to others if they want a hassle free overseas ride for an external partner to do the heavy lifting plus leading on the bike ride.

  Have gone on several trips with SCT – Switzerland, Italy, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia. SCT has been delivering great experiences at fair prices. The Swiss trip stands out among the rest as it provides an excellent mix of touring, climbing and sightseeing. Experiencing the diversity of Switzerland within a week is not easy, but SCT delivered.
