Place is so old but maintained its cleanliness. It feels historic. There was a mini exhibit where you’ll get to se the things used by the church and its history. Must Visit.2 months agoA Roman Catholic church with over 500 years of history. You can read a little about the church’s history in the stone inscriptions near the main entrance. It is a well-attended church. Depending on whether you visit the church during the day or evening, you get different experiences. It is definitely worth the visit.2 weeks agoThe Mother Church of the Philippines. Loved the image of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and the Adoration Chapel at the right facing the altar. Also, don’t forget to visit the Jubilee Cross with the relic of St. John Paul II at the first section on the left facing the altar. The souvenir shop on the right also offers a number of religious items.a month agoI am stunned how beautiful the church is. I have been into many church in Philippines and Manila Cathedral is probably the best. Worth to see. Highly recommend.

a month agoThe church has an amazing history and terrific architecture. Don’t pass the museum by next door. Adults 200p and worth every peso. Have Inc some pics. You can get into the other parts of the church via museum. But ask if a wedding service or event is taking place while you are there because they will close church off at this time.a month agoSan Agustin Church was constructed in 1586 and completed in 1607 by Spanish Augustinian friars. The church is known for its Baroque architecture, with its distinctively ornate facade and a combination of local and Spanish design elements. The church has survived earthquakes, fires, and wars over the centuries. It has witnessed numerous historical events and has played a central role in the country’s colonial past.2 months agoIt is a church with a long history, the surface of the walls are quite dark, indicating perhaps a low level of maintenance.
