Enjoyed learning all we could during our visit to this old and well-preserved park and property. Wonderful spice garden and historical exhibits. Don’t rush and make sure you leave enough time to wander the paths and discover the many facets of this large venue right in the heart of Singapore.

This is such a beautiful park in the heart of the city. You’ll find tourists and locals here alike. There are a number of paved trails with inclines and lots and lots of stairs! You’ll find people working out here regular. The trees provide a lot of shade and there are benches scattered about, offering the perfect stops to sit with a bagged lunch. I love coming here after picking up food from the local stalls, and sitting in some quiet with beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful park in downtown Singapore! Raffles collected a variety of different plants in his garden so it was quite enjoyable seeing them! The big park in the middle it blocked off unfortunately with barbed wire. We walked through the museum there as well with Singapore history and old artifacts. The park is very well maintained and the spice garden is pretty as well!

I really enjoyed the park! It’s a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. I made the mistake of entering through the stairs up to Raffles Garden, there’s so many of them. It’s small enough to visit all of it in a few hours. Expect a line to take a picture at the tree tunnel as this is a common photo spot. If you go first to Pancur Larangan there are electric stairs that will take you all the way up to Fort Canning Centre.

Lots of restaurants and whole area is covered as well as the seating by the river so you can eat outside alfresco dining everywhere even if it’s raining. A few of the bars have live music as well. There have been major renovations here but area is fully open now 2024, although one block still not filled with restaurants

Good to see a bit of construction going on. Great vibe in the area but is overshadowed by the Robertson Quay precinct with a multiple array of food choices. Clark Quay still has great views and the MRT takes you right there.

Went to Riverwalk to have a meal in a Vietnamese restaurant. Place is scenic along the river. You can see at the distance Marina Bay Sands. It is a good photo opportunity here as well as satiating your gastronomical cravings.

A good spot for nightlife and a drink in the town by the river. Lots of music and pubs/bars which are trendy and vibrant. Prices were a tad high but I guess that comes with the location. Did find it a bit awkward navigating around there on foot as there wasn’t ample places to cross over. Definitely worth using the underpass and crossings to get from one side to the other.

I think this is a good area for dating. There are so many nice restaurants and bars. After dinner you can walk to merlion park or marina bay sands from here. Great walking path.
