Hi I’m from Indonesia, on the last Christmas holidays my family and I traveled to Bangkok and Pattaya. During our visit Canary travel provides good, safe and enjoyable service. Ms. Chan was very responsive in answering all our questions and needs. Our tour guide Mr. Krieng, accompanied by a driver, was ready to take us and provide an explanation regarding the tourist attraction we were going to. Thank you Canary Travel ???

Canary Travel has been a part of my travels in Thailand for the past 10 years already. Chan, the owner, is very reliable and honest. Making transactions with her is also very easy and fast as she can speak English very well. Thank you Canary Travel and Chan for making my Thailand experience worth remembering. Kap khun kha and I’m looking forward to seeing you again in my next trip! ????

If the idea of a customised tour appeals, Chan at Canary Travel is the person to speak to. We chatted with Chan about a day trip to Kanchanaburi that concentrated only on the historical sites of the area; the War Cemetery, River Kwai Bridge, Death Railway, Jeath War Museum and the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre and Memorial Walking Trail. We also wanted a local guide in Kanchanaburi. Chan set about making a few phone calls to build our personal itinerary. We ended up with a private driver, Lek, and a local guide, Ricky. Ricky was very knowledgeable about the history of the railway and the sites we visited. Chan’s customer service was excellent and she made sure that we did everything we wanted to and was in touch by text to check that it went well. Highly recommended.

Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for being such a great host and a wonderful tour guide. You took us to places we hardly had any idea about. You and this trip will be etched out in our memories forever. Our vacation was worth the time and money spent because we explored many new places. All because of your (Arsh) constant efforts, we could visit those beautiful abodes. Everything was arranged by them I guess he is the best guide for one who’s coming to Thailand.

We were researching for the possible sight seeing venues in Thailand when we decided thailand to be our holiday destination. Just while looking out on youtube, we got the information about this company and tried to get connected with them. Since our first phone call, Arsh bhai was very supportive and cooperative. He planned everything according to our time frame and the arrangements were very nice. We did not feel any discomfort in any of his arrangements. Even at thailand we met him and bobby bhai. They both did our warm welcome and we had a good time with them. We would really suggest the aspiring passengers who want to visit thailand , you can trust and go with DMC without giving any second thought .

Arsh is brilliant at what he does. The trip was seamless, on time, with comfortable rides. I requested help from Arsh to accommodate all my airport transfers, city to city transfers and boat rides. Everything was door step service without any hassle. I booked hotels and set the itinerary myself and as per my comfortable time and Arsh was kind enough to make transport availability as I wanted. He will also guide you on good restaurants and things to do and visit as a good friend will do. I highly recommend the service. Keep up the great work.

Agent Orange is a chemical herbicide and defoliant, one of the tactical use Rainbow Herbicides.
It was used by the U.S. military as part of its herbicidal warfare program, Operation Ranch Hand, during the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1971. It is a mixture of equal parts of two herbicides, 2,4,5-T and 2,4-D. In addition to its damaging environmental effects, traces of dioxin (mainly TCDD, the most toxic of its type) found in the mixture have caused major health problems for many individuals who were exposed, and their offspring.
Agent Orange was produced in the United States from the late 1940s and was used in industrial agriculture, and was also sprayed along railroads and power lines to control undergrowth in forests. During the Vietnam War, the U.S. military procured over 20,000,000 U.S. gal (76,000,000 L; 17,000,000 imp gal), consisting of a fifty-fifty mixture of 2,4-D and dioxin-contaminated 2,4,5-T. Nine chemical companies produced it: Dow Chemical Company, Monsanto Company, Diamond Shamrock Corporation, Hercules Inc., Thompson Hayward Chemical Co., United States Rubber Company (Uniroyal), Thompson Chemical Co., Hoffman-Taff Chemicals, Inc., and Agriselect. The government of Vietnam says that up to four million people in Vietnam were exposed to the defoliant, and as many as three million people have suffered illness because of Agent Orange, while the Vietnamese Red Cross estimates that up to one million people were disabled or have health problems as a result of exposure to Agent Orange. The United States government has described these figures as unreliable, while documenting cases of leukemia, Hodgkin's lymphoma, and various kinds of cancer in exposed U.S. military veterans. An epidemiological study done by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that there was an increase in the rate of birth defects of the children of military personnel as a result of Agent Orange. Agent Orange has also caused enormous environmental damage in Vietnam. Over 3,100,000 ha (7,700,000 acres) or 31,000 km2 (12,000 sq mi) of forest were defoliated. Defoliants eroded tree cover and seedling forest stock, making reforestation difficult in numerous areas. Animal species diversity is sharply reduced in contrast with unsprayed areas. The environmental destruction caused by this defoliation has been described by Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, lawyers, historians and other academics as an ecocide. The use of Agent Orange in Vietnam resulted in numerous legal actions. The United Nations ratified United Nations General Assembly Resolution 31/72 and the Environmental Modification Convention. Lawsuits filed on behalf of both U.S. and Vietnamese veterans sought compensation for damages.
Agent Orange was first used by the British Armed Forces in Malaya during the Malayan Emergency. It was also used by the U.S. military in Laos and Cambodia during the Vietnam War because forests near the border with Vietnam were used by the Viet Cong.

The Biggest Travel Agent in Thailand

While traditional travel agents still exist and serve a purpose for certain types of travelers, there are a number of alternative options that have gained popularity in Bangkok. These alternatives offer convenience, flexibility, and often cheaper prices.

1. Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) – Online travel agencies such as Agoda, Booking.com, and Expedia have become extremely popular in recent years. These platforms allow travelers to search for and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services all in one place. They also often offer competitive prices and special deals. Many OTAs also have user-friendly mobile apps, making it even easier to book on the go.

  • Pros:
    • Convenience of searching and booking everything in one place
    • Often offer competitive prices and special deals
    • User-friendly mobile apps for booking on the go
  • Cons:
    • Limited ability to customize or tailor travel arrangements
    • May not have access to certain exclusive deals or discounts
    • Limited human interaction and personalized service

2. Travel Deal Websites – Websites such as Traveloka, Skyscanner, and Kayak aggregate travel deals from multiple sources, allowing travelers to compare prices and options. These websites often have advanced search and filtering options, making it easier to find the best deals based on specific preferences. Some of these websites also offer additional features such as price alerts and flexible date searches.

  • Pros:
    • Ability to search and compare deals from multiple sources
    • Advanced search and filtering options for specific preferences
    • Additional features such as price alerts and flexible date searches
  • Cons:
    • May require more time and effort to find the best deals
    • Limited human interaction and personalized service
    • May not have access to certain exclusive deals or discounts

3. Direct Booking – With the rise of online platforms and mobile apps, many travelers are now choosing to book directly with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers. This allows them to bypass middlemen and potentially get better prices or exclusive deals. Many airlines and hotels also have loyalty programs or membership perks that can provide additional benefits to direct bookers.

  • Pros:
    • Potential for better prices or exclusive deals
    • Access to loyalty programs and membership perks
    • Opportunity for direct communication with service providers for specific requests or preferences
  • Cons:
    • May require more time and effort to search and book directly with multiple service providers
    • Limited ability to compare options from different providers in one place
    • May not have access to certain exclusive deals or discounts

Overall, these alternatives to traditional travel agents in Bangkok offer convenience, flexibility, and often cheaper prices. However, it’s important for travelers to weigh the pros and cons of each option and consider their specific needs and preferences before making a decision.
