My husband and I had the most amazing time learning to off-road with Chris, who gave the right motivation and made sure we were enjoying ourselves throughout our travel through Laos. Hue Lee was our guide & leader, leading us through some of the most stunning scenery and challenging (in the most fun way) terrains. I would recommend Lao Adv to everyone who wants to experience Laos in the most authentic way. We wish and sincerely hope to return a few more times and up our adventure with them.

Can’t say enough good things about Lao Adv. We rented two motorcycles from them to go to Nong Khiaw and they were absolutely perfect; making an amazing trip even better.

The guys were super friendly, helpful and easy going – and they clearly take very good care of the bikes. To be honest, after renting from them I can’t see myself renting a bike from any other rental company should I ever do a bike tour in Laos again!

Khamsone and his staff are wonderful and experienced motorbike renters. They maintain the bikes and are genuinely vested in their customers experience and safety in Laos. I rented a 125cc semi-auto Honda Wave and had the best time exploring the most beautiful country in the world with it. There really is no better way to see Laos. Get on two wheels and get out of the city. Anousay Motorbike Rental is the company to do it with. Highly recommended and I will certainly use their services again when I return. Thank you!

Great service. I rented a manual Honda MSX 125cc for 3 days. The bike had some scratches but we documented everything upfront by photos and exchanged them via WhatsApp, so no surprise in the end. Bike was also running without any problems. Price was absolutely fair – 250.000 kip / day plus 20.000 for a proper helmet and 30.000 for a mobile phone mount. You can get free helmets, but these are not good for a longer ride, only if you may take a scooter in the city. Nothing to complain about, nice staff and located near the heart of Luang Prabang.

This place is one of the few in LPB that lets you take their bikes further than the usual 40km limit. Which was exactly what I needed since I wanted to ride from LPB to Vang Vieng. I was a bit worried at first since there are some negative reviews…but now I can wholeheartedly say those are not justified. I took a 125cc Honda Wave which was in very good condition. Fairly new, brakes, gearbox, and suspension all worked well. It was a well maintained bike for sure. It was a joy to ride and those machines are much tougher than you’d expect. It had no issues with the very adventurous road Nr13 that leads to Vang Vieng. Once I’ve reached my destination without any issues, I unfortunately had problems with my rear tire which kept on destroying the inner tube. I couldn’t explain the local mechanics the issue since apparently Google Translate doesn’t do a good job when translating to Lao. So I contacted the manager of Anousay. And she was incredibly helpful and friendly. She talked on the phone to the local mechanic and explained the issue. Which was fixed successfully afterwards. The way she helped me deal with the situation made me feel safe. She definitely cared about me and my situation. After this I had a wonderful ride back to LPB. Don’t listen to the few bad reviews, if you’re honest about your mistakes and treat the bikes with respect, you won’t have any issues at all. Thank you Anousay for a wonderful experience!!!

Rental went smoothly. The scooters worked fine for our trip. I liked being able to shift a bit for the uphill parts. Roads aren’t as deadly as Thailand but prepare for some reckless drivers on the road passing people in blind turns at high velocity. For those who haven’t done this kind of riding: it’s not as relaxed as the brochure advertises. Still had fun though, nicer than sitting in a Van that drives recklessly fast, leaving you unable to stop for photos or snacks and drinks.
