Harum Manis is an Indonesian restaurant that is located in Pavilion Sudirman Apartment. The restaurant is spacious with classic Indonesian interior. The private room is available as well. This restaurant will give us a homey vibes, especially when it’s not too crowded ?

They have variant of Indonesian foods selection, such as fried foods, appetizer, satay, seafood, chicken, duck, beef, lamb, noodle, vegetables, even selection of rice, along with the desserts and beverages. All of them is interesting, and since it’s many selections, it will make us think for a while to decide what to eat ?

Crackers and sambal are served as free flow and without charge.

If you want to get a complete all in one foods, I recommend you to try Sarwo Becik Sanget (a plate of some variant of fried foods) and Aneka Sate Nusantara (variant of satay).

The service is friendly, the foods taste good, that’s why I recommend this place to dine in with family ❤️

Here are my recommendations : – Sambal Terasi (FREE) – Sosis Saking Solo – The mango sauce from Sarwo Becik Sanget – Green Rice – Soto Ayam Arek Suroboyo – Sate Ayam Mbok Ayu – Bir Pletok Dingin for the beverage

The place is good. They have several private rooms for you who wants to reserve a place for certain event. The Sate is delicious, but other food is not that good. Probably because I like spicy food, while the food here is not spicy at all. But for those who wants to entertain guest, this is the right place.

Great Indonesian food with a very nice atmosphere. We had gado-gado, grilled chicken, mixed satay, and nasi kuning and we loved it. Friendly service and good portion for sharing. We will come back for more. Highly recommended.

Returned to one of my favorite in Jakarta. The staffs are not as warm as before (before pandemic). No more live music. However, food still good just think a bit pricey now.

It’s been a good few years since we last visited Social House. Prior to the pandemic we used to be frequent customers and always had a good time, their brunch menu in particular was extra special and portion super generous.

This time we came for dinner and find ourselves not too excited about the menu ? despite being hungry, we scoured multiple times back & forth and only barely decided on grilled salmon & double patty burger accompanied with jalapeno elixir and grandma’s tea. Drinks came out soon and was refreshing enough, jalapeno elixir was exactly that: fizzy & spicy. Grandma’s tea was still good and came in a really tall glass. Grilled salmon was crispy on the outside and still juicy. Burger however was just ok, patty was so flat that even double didn’t feel like much. You know it’s a problem when the highlight was Cajun fries.

Service was great though, the team took attention and always prompt to our needs. Bill came to almost IDR 800K which we thought was overpriced and different to how we remembered Social House. Note to mgmt: might want to look into making the experience more unique as with many indie cafes everywhere, the brand alone will not guarantee return customers.

If you’re looking for a comfort food restaurant, then this is the place. The food is great and you can really taste the Josper grilled potato and Seafood claypot rice at their best. Ambience is also very nice. Service was great. Overall a great dining experience.

The foods never fail me. Always love the ambience and the service. Great place to hang out and chill.

Very recommend the pork belly fried rice. Last time visiting here, I ordered caesar salad. And surprisingly, the salad is soooo good. With crouton which adds the texture. Loaded of cheese, and fresh vegetables.

A nice place to chill on Friday night! We seated on the outdoor area with a great view of Bundaran HI. They also have nice live music for those who just want to enjoy the vibe while smoking or drinking. Service was good at first, the server was very nice and helpful. But after the place got more crowded, unfortunately service was getting slower and slower. We ordered their new menu, Prawn Cakue, the prawn is not fresh (a bit smelly and the texture was a bit off).

Went here for christmas lunch. We ordered: – mentaiko pasta with king prawn (155k) – soho smashed burger (160k) – american cheeseburger (150k) – carnivore pizza (155k)

pasta was percectly cooked but we can barely taste anything other than the overpowering shrimp paste/terasi. soho smashed burger was the best out of everything that we ordered. buttery bun, perfectly charred patties, great dipping sauce, okay side dish (cajun fries). however, i found at least 4 bone pieces in my patties. they were small enough for you to notice but big enough to hurt your teeth.

They let you choose the doneness of your patty for your american cheeseburger. dad asked for welldone but they got us med-well. Sidedish was potatochips. This one is also okay. They served the carnivire pizza with fair amount of toppings, grilled to perfection, right amount of chewiness on their dough, and hollow crust. However for the price that we paid the portion was rather small.

Beverage (flavored iced tea) was so-so. pinacolada (65k) was awful, coconut milk was separated, istg it tasted like es buah pinggiran.

I tried to raise the issue about the bone pieces to the waiter when we were about to pay our bills. The waiter asked us to wait while they investigate (?) this problem. I heard one of them said “lah daritadi dia ga manggil gua” ??? Well i just wanted to address my complain. After 20-30 mins they finally came back and apologized then offered a discount on the total bill. Then they left us hanging for another 20 mins or so until I asked them to give us the bills, ffs we just want to settle the bill and leave. I forgot to mention they let you wait for a very long time for a dish to be served. Every dish takes half an hour on average. Idk if its bc it was packed due to peak season.. or they are just slow. They finally gave us 10% on the food that we ordered. Definitely not coming back.
