Mrs. Bun Roeung’s Ancient House
– The unpleasant part was the way we were absolutely rushed through a mechanical 7 minutes top visit (with absolutely no other visitor around), and given a presentation uttered robot like, emotionless. We weren’t authorised to take photos while the woman was talking, and ordered to do so after she would be done. I’m not sure we saw the whole house, as there are pics of an ancient bed in the previous reviews, that never appeared while visiting. I bought a small Khmer scarf in the shop section for my son, so maybe that’s why we weren’t asked the 2 dollars previous reviews mention as a “mandatory fee”.

4 months agoThis ancient house is in one of Khmer characteristic styles. It is basically wooden and stucco. The house is almost 100 years old dated to French colony. It’s public and welcome to visitors everyday.
