4 months agoWe went there on a very less crowded Sunday afternoon and it was a good experience. The heritage buildings create a picture perfect backdrop and since it was the week of National day, there were huge flags all over which made even more grand. It’s a place to visit when you have additional time on hands after all the essential sight seeing is done in KL. Nevertheless a very interesting and historically important site to visit. Don’t forget to take ride on an electric beam scooter on the open road, it’s fun and heaven for reel creators 😀a month agoLooking at the structure and it’s architectural designs, it does bring you back to the historical moment of the Independence Day. However lack of maintenance and being unoccupied makes the building lost its glory and prestige. Something needs to be done to preserve its honour, pride and historical values.3 weeks agoLocated exactly opposite to Sultan Abdul Samad building. Truly, a historical place where Malayan flag raised for first time at midnight of 31-08-1957 on Independence Day. All old memorials with erection of pillars or statues could be seen here. There is no entry fee. When we visited recently renovation of park was going on. Historical buildings like Royal Selangar Club, Saint Mary’s cathedral are nearby.in the last weekIt’s so pretty for a night view. Parents should bring their children here. It’s also one of history building. It’s already 2020++. It’s time to see beautifulness of Malaysia.a month agoMy first time visit. I always see this building on TV during Merdeka Day. Such a glorious building however there is a need to preserve and make use of the building instead of leaving it like a ghost town.
