The 7 Largest Hospital or Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City

I subtracted a star because the cashier/pharmacy counter didn’t explain the drugs until after we paid for it. We googled all the drugs after and there some drugs we already had on hand like antihistamines. I think if we spoke Vietnamese this could’ve been avoided.

As a visitor from the Philippines, I had a sudden health issue on my first day in Ho Chi Minh – diarrhea. I struggled due to the language barrier and reluctance from other clinics. Thankfully, a friend recommended this clinic, and it was a lifesaver.

The receptionists were incredibly helpful, providing a dedicated translator since I couldn’t speak their language. This translator accompanied me throughout the process, explaining everything.

Their system is straightforward: pay first, no surprises. The whole process was well-organized with no wait times:

1. Reception 2. Payment for consultation 3. Assigned translator 4. Doctor’s consultation 5. Payment for lab tests 6. Lab tests 7. Doctor’s explanation 8. Payment for medicine 9. Receiving medicine

Everything done in less than an hour.

This clinic may charge more for foreigners but since I’m getting what I paid for with so much efficiency I don’t mind paying extra.

This clinic made a challenging situation much easier, and I’m grateful for their efficiency and kindness.

I spent 3 days here with nose surgery. It was really highly appreciated with full care from Doctor Hong Hai to Nurse and even cleaner auntie.

Not the best for foreigners.

Overall it was satisfactory. They assign you a translator which is helpful, but you’re forced to pay for VIP. Most of the staff didn’t speak english and it felt like there wasn’t a lot of communication between separate departments and indeed with me as a customer.

I booked before hand but still have to wait and they didn’t give any instructions beside waiting for your turn then what’s the different between extra booking fee and normal waiting process? Hence I’m wavering between 3-4 stars. The receptionists from ground floor to further up are nice and helpful though. Doctor was nice but pretty general in the treatment and after treatment.

The price of medicine is higher than outside.

Though I would say it’s much better than public hospital in term of service.
