Service was incredibly slow. My sick son suspected to have virus infection after pre diagnosis. After wait for almost 2 & half hours, only to know admission is close & no more accepting patient. So the doctor just forget about virus test, only give normal treatment, medicine & ask to come tomorrow if my son still sick. Not end there, have to wait for another hour only for medication to be received. Very not recommended if you need a quick treatment. Unless you have time for all day then maybe you can come for their superior service.

My father just discharged today after undergoing OGDS, colonoscopy & polypectomy (fortunately is benign) by Dato’ Dr Ganesanathan and laparoscopic right hernia repair by Dr Lau Peng Choong. Previously he underwent laparoscopic left hernia repair at Pantai Melaka Ayer Keroh by Dr Lim Eng Seng on October 2019.

Thankful that the procedures and this admission are also covered by Etiqa Family Takaful my father is having. Really appreciate the hospitality shown by all Pantai staffs especially Dr Azlin Julina and all the staff nurses at Level 4.

UPDATES: I just brought my mom to another hospital emergency once they get to know our situation and they saw the Xray which is do in pantai hospital, they said Xray report did mentioned something swelling it and they directly arrange an urgent CT scan and found out it was bowel infection !!!!!

Efficiency and system need to improve, please!

My mom went to the emergency on Saturday night, and the doctor diagnosed a slight bacterial infection and food poisoning. We were advised to observe at home with medication. When her stomach pain persisted, we returned to the emergency on Monday night, leading to hospital admission. The following day, the doctor scheduled an ultrasound, but it was delayed until noon. Another doctor took over, recommending a gastroscopy and colonoscopy, extending the wait for one more day with no updates on the ultrasound.

After enduring another day with no progress, we finally had the check-up at 6:30 am, receiving results at 10 am. However, there was no further information or medication provided. Later in the day, my mom’s condition deteriorated, and the nurses seemed indifferent when I sought help. The situation escalated when my mom vomited and experienced severe discomfort, prompting me to request assistance urgently. It took a while for the nurses to respond, and only then did they bring medicine.

The following day brought more waiting, worsening conditions for my mom, and a delayed CT scan. Frustrated with the slow progress, I decided to transfer to another hospital. The discharge process was further delayed, and despite requesting painkillers at 7 pm, they had not been administered by 7:45 pm. Throughout my mom’s stay, the hospital staff exhibited a passive attitude, and the overall progress was exceedingly slow.

P.S: I went through a similar experience at this hospital last year and felt depressed when admitted. However, I considered that it was during the MCO period, and I understood they were short-staffed due to the challenges of COVID times. Now, my mom is having a similar experience.

Great experience for my admission to Daycare ward. The nurse are friendly and kind, make me feel comfortable and safe. Credit to the nurse that gave me her personal pad after my surgery which I didn’t bring any. Thanks for the 5 stars service.

Used to be a renowned hospital. Currently has absolutely gone down the drain to the dogs. Horrible experience at emergency department. Severely understaffed. Waited for 4 hours and still not seen a doctor. Left for another hospital. If you are having an emergency you better go somewhere else. You might die waiting to see a doctor here
