in the last weekThe trip organized by Tour Mount Bromo was wonderful! Hospitality and services were outstanding! All accommodations were clean and amazing! Tour mount bromo and Angeline were so kind, understanding , accommodating and quick to response towards our requests! We couldn’t have asked for more! We were so amazed by the food recommendation provided by our guide Hamim and driver! We managed to catch the blue flames at mount ijen and it was spectacular! The sight of madakaripura waterfall was extravagant! Thankful towards this company for making this trip happen! Would definitely recommend tour mount bromo to whoever wants to visit mt bromo and mt ijen!5 months agoWe’ve book Cultural Yogyakarta Tour (4D/3N) and the team make sure everything is smooth and all itineraries has been covered, our Guide Mr. Deddy make sure we’ve been taken care off he let us tasted their famous food from staples to dessert his also a jolly person with a good sense of humour which makes our tour experience awesome. Thank you for the experience and kudos to Tour Mount Bromo, book your travel with them and just relax and enjoy.5 years agoThe tour was challenging (a few hours of drive, staying up throughout the night etc), but once you reach Mount Bromo, it’s worth every minute. The view was just breathtaking. Going up the craters was another challenging trip, with dust everywhere, but the journey was a lot of fun and was such an eye opener into the local culture. (Tip: Bring a mask and some wet tissues). The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating too. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s interested in challenging him or herself. It’s an incredible experience not likely to be forgotten for a very long time.5 years agoMy boyfriend and I booked a 3D2N Bromo and Ijen tour with TourMountBromo from 1st-4th July. Alex was the Singapore liaison and he was very responsive to my queries both via email and whatsapp. I was also passed the contact of the Indonesian liaison, Agung, who had contacted me to confirm the airport pickup prior to my departure. His tour guide, Rama picked us up from the airport and were extremely accommodating and pleasant from the start till the end of the trip. We were brought to the waterfall, near Probollingo, which was amazing. Then we made our way towards Mt.Bromo area to Bronx OtIx Guesthouse (very basic accommodation but nice view), where we reached about 6pm that day. We got our dinner and rested till 10pm, where we made our way to see the milky way, just a 10minutes jeep ride. Unfortunately, it was a 90% moon and so we could not see it. After that, we rested till 2am, and proceeded to the viewing point on King Kong Hill. We watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures of the landscape both on top and the bottom of the hill. We had breakfast at the Guesthouse and left at 9am and made our way to Ijen, and reached about 1pm to Ijen view Hotel (better accomodation). We got to rest till midnight, and made our way to the Ijen crater which was 2 hours ride away. The climb took 1.5hrs (2300m) but was manageable for average people like us. Ijen crater was absolutely stunning and worth the hike up. We ended our tour with a drop-off option in Bali, which was taken care off smoothly from the car-ride to the ferry point till all the way to our Airbnb apartment in Seminyak. The only things to take note would be that if you should be hungry and need lunch, communicate with the driver to stop somewhere or stock yourself up before the long drives start. if you are good with snacking on minimart goodies till dinner, then its fine. Also, it does get very cold on top, so do not ever think that you’re over-preparing for the cold. And, I was supposed to get homestays for this tour. So i was expecting homestay that will enable interaction with the locals but the accomodations I got were satisfactory as well. Also, check the lunar calendar and choose a no moon day if you want to see the milky way. Plan it accordingly with the lunar calendar. Overall, I will do my trip again with TourMountBromo for other regions/tours available. It is best to do it with them if this is your first time!4 years agoI found Tour Mount Bromo online and was unsure initially as I’ve not heard of them but decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised with how the trip turned out. We signed up for the 4D3N Yogyakarta Adventurous Tour but by the end of it, we wished we were on the 5D4N tour instead. Yogyakarata is truly underrated. It is a destination with beautiful scenery, rich culture, an abundance of activities and yummy local food. Definitely on the list to revisit again as there are still places to explore there. The team at Tour Mount Bromo was great as well. With a wealth of knowledge in the travel industry, Alex generously provided us with an abundance of support and travel tips prior to the trip. We were also very blessed with our local guide, Ridwan who was excellent with the ground arrangements. He adjusted our itinerary on the ground so that we were at the right place at the right time. He was also very thoughtful throughout the trip and was great fun to be with. And not to forget, he had great driving skills which we really appreciated.
Overall, if you are looking for somewhere with a little bit of everything, Yogyakarta would surely over deliver. Do check Tour Mount Bromo out!

a week agoWe had a great time with Bali tour guide. We customised our tour as per our convenience. Putu our driver and tour guide was very good and so were his recommendations for sightseeing. He also took us to very good places for lunch and dinner. He was always punctual and was there early. Car was clean and tidy. Agung the owner was always responsive over text while planning our trip to Bali. Will recommend them to everyone travelling to Bali!4 months agoI arranged my programme & transport services in advance, before arrival to Bali. Fast response, program suggestion as per my interests, easy communication. I was lucky to have Pakis as my private tour guide for almost 14 days. He is very professional, punctual & customer oriented. All vehicles are comfortable & clean, water was provided. Because I ejoyed my program in Bali, I extended my stay in Indonesia for one more week and discovered with Best Bali Tour Guide nearby Islands. Pakis arranged boat tickets, transfers and program in islands in a few minutes. Airport transfers are available as well. Mr.Wirya thank you for all communication and care. You have a great and professional team. I will come back soon and definitely will recommend your services to my friends and colleagues.a month agoWe used Bali Tour Guide to plan our vacation and we are very pleased with their service. They were exceptionally fast with quotes, have competitive prices and our tour guide (and driver) Wayan Jaya was also really good and professional – early for pick up every single day, suggested good places to eat based on our requests and helped us click photos too (you can see him with a big smile in one our the pics attached to this review!). Agung from the coordination part was also very professional in his communication and accommodative when we had to make changes to the plan as my wife was pregnant!! 5/5 certainly!6 months agoWe had the best experience with Bali Tour Guide. We arranged with them 8 days of visiting Bali with a private driver. Our driver was the best. He is now our friend and family after this experience. Putu, our driver, was driving safe and always put us in contact with great local guides in places like Tirta Empul, Sekumpul &Fiji waterfalls. We visit with Bali Tour most of the Bali Island from North to South, from East to West side. We have been also to Gili Trawangan and Nusa Penida and our driver put us on safe boats that took us from Bali to the other island safe and fast. We recommend Bali Tour and especially Putu as a driver and guide because they are professional, nice, they speak English and they are alway there to help you with information and clarification. We could cover in 8 days most of the important places you could visit in Bali. Our driver was always taking us from our resort in Ubud and always bringing us back to the resort after each trip.Thank you with gratitude for everything you’ve done for us and for making our holiday feeling special!

Top Local Tour Guide Alternatives in Bali
Bali, known for its stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality, is a popular tourist destination. While hiring a local tour guide can enhance your experience in Bali, there are also alternative options that are equally popular and offer unique benefits. Here are three top alternatives to traditional local tour guides in Bali:
- Online Travel Guides: Online travel guides have become increasingly popular, providing travelers with a wealth of information and resources at their fingertips. These guides offer detailed information about Bali’s top attractions, local customs and traditions, and practical tips for navigating the island. They often include interactive maps, suggested itineraries, and user reviews, making it easier to plan your own personalized Bali adventure. Online travel guides also give you the flexibility to explore at your own pace and customize your itinerary according to your interests and preferences.
- Mobile Apps: With the rise of smartphone usage, mobile apps have become an essential tool for travelers. There are numerous travel apps specifically designed for Bali, offering features such as offline maps, transportation booking, restaurant recommendations, and local insider tips. These apps can be your virtual tour guide, helping you navigate through Bali’s streets, discover hidden gems, and make the most of your time on the island. Many apps also provide real-time updates on traffic and weather conditions, ensuring a smoother travel experience.
- Self-Guided Tours: For those who prefer a more independent and immersive travel experience, self-guided tours are a great alternative. Bali is a relatively safe and easy destination to explore on your own, with well-developed infrastructure and friendly locals. You can rent a scooter or car, use a GPS or map to navigate, and embark on your own adventure. Self-guided tours allow you the freedom to discover off-the-beaten-path destinations, interact with locals, and delve deeper into Bali’s culture and natural beauty. Just make sure to research and plan your itinerary in advance, and always prioritize safety and respect for the local customs.
These alternative options to local tour guides in Bali offer flexibility, convenience, and the opportunity to create your own unique travel experience. Whether you choose to rely on online travel guides, mobile apps, or self-guided tours, you can still make the most of your time in Bali and discover the island’s treasures at your own pace.
