4 years agoSituated at the largest temple complex in the world, the Angkor Wat is arguably the celebrity temple. It is the most well-known temple in Cambodia. It is even seen in their national flag – the only flag that I know that has the temple illustrated in it. The beauty of its architecture is just beyond words considering how old it was built and surprisingly it is decently preserved up to this date. Tourists who are planning to come see it (and they should) must be prepared physically to do long walks under the heat of the sun. Experience the Angkor Wat. It is a must when in Cambodia.4 years agoAmazing place to visit and worth the early start to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat. In can get busy for the sunrise view so recommend getting there in good time if you want a good spot. The entire site is huge, it’s worth hiring a tuk tuk to explore the different temples during the heat of the day! We bought the one day ticket at 5pm the previous day and were also able to see the sunset at Pre Rup. It also meant we could head straight there in the AM for the sunrise. It’s possible to purchase a 3 day ticket if you have more time and want to take longer to explore.3 years agoAngkor Is Way Too Big To Explore For One Day. It Certainly Needs To Be Back The Day After And The Day After And The Day After…. Even With Tuk Tuk Ride. Temples Are Amazing And A Lot Of History Backgrounds. Somes Are Broken Because Of Ages.3 years agoAngkor Wat is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia, built for the Hindu king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Before long it became a Buddhist site. It is the world’s largest religious building. Angkor fell into decline after the 14th Century.3 years agoWhat an amazing place to visit. The Temple is a must seen when you visit Cambodia or Siem Reap. This temple is one of the famous tourist attractions in the world. The architecture of the temple is state of the art. A very massive temple build by perfection. Also very busy and the sunset and sunrise are also both a must seen. Words and pictures can’t describe the experience at this temple. This is something that you must see and experience by yourself. The temples are very old and some parts are falling apart. Women and men needs to where clothes that covers shoulders and legs seeing that this is religious areas or temples. The temple is a true world wonder.
