a month agoPark Royal Hotel, Yangon is a good horel with English speaking staff of good service and location is proximity to big Junction City Mall, gems centre, wholesale medical centre and street stalls. Highly recommended.5 months agoAfter our arrival in Myanmar, we hooked up with the Myanmar Tours squad, and wow! it was smooth sailing from the word Go. Our tour guides, oh boy, they knew their stuffs inside out. Not only were they professional, but they were like walking human encyclopedias on all things Myanmar. They sprinkled knowledge like confetti, and we soaked it all up. But the real MVP? That’ll be Mr. Ko Ko. This guy, he’s a Guru. He had our trip locked and loaded, every little detail, nook, and cranny. From the hustle-bustle of Yangon to the mind-blowing temples of Bagan, the chill vibes of Inle Lake, and the wild 2-day trek in Kalaw, it was all bang! bang! on point. It was an incredible experience..At Myanmar Tours, they didn’t just plan a trip; they crafted an adventure. We got to soak in the warmth and friendliness of the locals, Cultures, foods, and All the Sights and Sounds of Myanmar. They are the real deal.
Listen up, if you’re thinkin’ about Myanmar, I’m throwin’ Myanmar Tours in the ring without a second thought. These guys? They’ll take you on an Adventure of a Lifetime that you will never forget. They sure did for my crew and I.. Hats off to you, Myanmar Tours, for making our memories pop like fireworks ? Cheers, William

8 years agoAll of your representatives (the three guides) were polite, informative and professional. In particular, our first guide; Phyu Hnin Tun was exceptionally personable and considerate of Celia and myself. She made great recommendations for our stay. She also prepared extra material (and drew a sketch) to teach us about the architecture of pagodas — which really contributed to my understanding of their significance. I really appreciated it!8 years agoWe enjoyed our week in Myanmar! A beautiful country and nice people. Our guides were all great.4 years agoThey make it convenient6 years ago5 years ago

Top Local Tour Guide Alternatives in Yangon
The three top local tour guide alternatives that are very popular in Yangon are:
- Digital Tour Guides
- Self-Guided Walking Tours
- Local Travel Apps
1. Digital Tour Guides: With the advancement of technology, many tourists now prefer using digital tour guides instead of hiring local tour guides. These digital guides come in the form of mobile applications that provide comprehensive information about the city, including attractions, historical sites, restaurants, and transportation options. They often include offline maps, audio guides, and suggested itineraries, allowing visitors to explore Yangon at their own pace and convenience. Some popular digital tour guides for Yangon include “Myanmar Tours & Guides” and “Yangon Travel Guide”. These apps provide a wealth of information and can be easily accessed on smartphones.
2. Self-Guided Walking Tours: Yangon is a city that can be explored on foot, and self-guided walking tours are a great alternative to hiring a local tour guide. There are several self-guided walking tour routes available online and in travel guidebooks that take visitors to the city’s main attractions, such as the Shwedagon Pagoda, Sule Pagoda, and the colonial buildings in downtown Yangon. These tours often include detailed maps, historical information, and suggested stops along the way. The advantage of self-guided walking tours is that they offer flexibility, allowing visitors to spend more time at places of interest and explore at their own pace.
3. Local Travel Apps: Another popular alternative to local tour guides in Yangon are local travel apps. These apps, such as “Go Yangon” and “Yangon Bus Ticket”, provide practical information about transportation, accommodation, dining, and attractions in the city. They offer real-time information on bus routes, taxi fares, and even local events happening in Yangon. These apps are especially useful for independent travelers who prefer to plan their own itineraries and explore the city on their own. They provide valuable insights and recommendations from locals and fellow travelers, helping visitors make the most of their time in Yangon.
