6 years agoOne of Siem Reap’s holiest and most revered shrines with an interesting back story behind it. Great place to spot locals offering flowers, incense and fruits. Around are local fortune tellers and street hawkers selling jasmine, birds and fried tarantulas. Great photo ops everywhere you turn.5 years agoYa Tep Shrine – A highly revered shrine in the middle of Route 6 (the highway through town) and located in between the Royal Palace and the Royal Gardens Park. Very interesting to visit and photograph, but watch out for the traffic.3 years agoJust small place of worship in the center of the street. The place is crowded sometimes but it is safe because the traffic is not busy enough. There is a big trees around. Located across one of temple in the park.5 years agoOriginal place to set up a temple as it is in the middle of the street.. but seems to be really important for the local people who come for pray .. stop few minutes there and you will see!!4 years agoA shine and statue very much in Khmer and local style that is situated nearby to the Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chom Temple at the southern end of the Royal Independence Garden. There are a few other similar shrines and monuments inside the park that add to your visit to the temple.

7 months agoI never knew there was such temple in the center of Siem Reap. It looks very similar to Kravan Temple and the Monk said it was built before Angkor Wat. Beautiful indeed!4 months agoA Temple in the middle of town, older than Angkor free to visita year agoThis late 10th century temple is in good conservation, as you can see the two sanctuaries are still standing. It has richly carving on the dintel, pediment and columns .. and it is highly recommended to visit ….3 weeks agoThe enchanting temple in the downtown of Siem Reap!5 years agoThere are two similar pagodas located right next to each other. Preah Enkosei and Preah Enkosar pagoda which the suffix of Sei represents female Goddesses and suffix Sar represents male Gods. However, there’s only one ancient temple in the Enkosei one. The temple is quite well preserved n it did survive from any major vandalism in the area. This temple can be a free pass to foreign tourists who happen to arrive Siem Reap later in the afternoon or who don’t wish to spend a day off before buying a pass to enter the Angkor complex as currently there’s no pass check entrance. Totally recommended to check out this stunning temple.
